Does anyone know how to edit Skie's voice set in Near Infinity?
If even such a thing is possible ....
I want to change a few things, such as her happy comment is also her death reaction comment.
And I was to utilise a few of her rare sounds, such as; "Do you like my perfume?" and "Let's go shopping!" as her selection sounds. Her constant complaining is grinding on me.

Huh. No idea, but you can try this.
1. Export the sound you want.
2. Name it as the sound you want to replace.
3. Just put it in override folder
Works with NPC portraits, so maybe with sounds too : P
4. Didn't work? Ask on Spellhold Studios.

Change the string references. Each of these sounds is associated with a text string. If you change the string reference value you'll also change the sound.

Replacing sound files will cause mismatches between text and sound.

OK, I tried changing the string references

So for example I'm changing her

SELECT_ACTION2 [SKIE 21] "I have a cold" to [SKIE02] "I love you Eldoth"

But when I go to save, I get an error that says:

Error while saving _SKIE.CRE



Also, I don't think her unique sounds have been imported into Tutu like the one's I mentioned in the first post, and the same goes for her "You're the finest group of friends I've ever had!"

I also get Error dialog.tlk messages too.
