Anyone who likes Twilight should burn in 20 year game devolpment HELL.
Well, Twilight isn´t as bad as you and all the others here make it.
Look at it as a lovestory instead of a vampire story and it´s actually by far the best in its genre.
well, i have to disagree. 1. the book pretty much includes religious indoctrination (drinking blood = sex before the marriage => vampires that drink blood = evil scary monsters. lesson learned: children, dont have sex before marriage or youll become an evil monster).
2. the lovestory isn't really THAT good. mostly because the vampire aspect remains pretty unused. you COULD make something out of it, but the way meyer (or what her name was) does it it doesn't really work out. the situations she allows to occure can occur similar in real life without vampire powers (family problems, shy girl and guy (how the HELL can a 300 or whatever years old person behave that way and why is he interested in schoolgirls) troubles with a social background whatever) or something like that. those "powers" are only made to hype the story up but the real "vampire" thing and the out of it following problems arent shown enough (again: age difference of several centurys).
3. if you only look at it as a pure romance on the other hand it also pretty much fails because it wastes MUCH too much time on that entire vampire-business, even if thats not really important.
besides, i dont think that twilights really read because of the romance. its read because of the "forbidden dangerous love wrawr" aspect. you can pretty much prove that by saying that the largest part of the book jumping on the hype have pretty strong erotic aspects (i stoped counting all that novels with half-naked men on the cover one day) and (after all i heard) dont really care for romances...
