I bought the game earlier today and I am having trouble downloading the cerberus network from the activation card. I did what it said to do in the other thread about it, but it still does not work. When I enter it by pressing the "Y" button at the main menu, I get this message

'Communication with the Mass Effect 2 server was interrupted or has times out. Please try again later"

Someone please help

Does it just mean the servers are down?

try going to xbox consol system settings and check your time, you may find it is off. reset/set for correct time and try the game again. hope this helps.

Time was correct. Still gives me the same message

i had a similar problem and EA recommended the following: clear XBox system cache (this didnt work for me) and if that didnt work EA advised to delete everything game related and start from scratch). I found the time fix solution on another forum and it worked for me. You can try the EA solutions, perhaps one will work. Best of luck and once working properly enjoy the game (one of my favorites).

Again, thanks for the reply, but I am not going to delete my files, especially since I am about half way through the game on insanity (which is why I want this Cerberus network). Maybe the server is down and having patience is the only thing I can do

he said delete your cache, not your data

you can back up your game saves with any usb drive
