i'm hoping to get to raise the kid and teach him/her chivalry and a few skills on swordsmanship.
i'd be even happier if our child's future would appear in the epilogue.

EPILOGUE:
Hawke's son and or daughter, after living a life of neglect due to his/her father's heroic escapades, grew up to a life of solitude and broken promises. One day, after a lifetime of being ignored, he/she/they was/were now a man/woman and simply vanished from the pages of history. Nobody knew what had happened to this child/children. And neither did his/her/their father/mother.

if that's what you're going to do to your character's children then yes that's what will happen.

if having a child  is implemented in the game, i'll make sure my character cares for him/her or them.

You forgot the deep resentment of having to forever live in the shadow of his/her mother/fatherPosted Image. Hawke is gonna be a pretty tough act to follow, much like Maric for CailanPosted Image.

Erm, too far. Unless they make a romance canon, it is unlikely.

since DA3 won't star hawke, i don't see that much of a problem with continuity.
if you're going to ask me how i know hawke won't be starring in DA3, i think it is in the live chat topic on this forum and they said that in the dragon age series, it's more about thedas itself than its characters.

Yeah, it's pretty obvious DA3 won't star Hawke or Warden. Warden might already be dead by then anyways... There's a good reason why the game is called "Dragon Age". Unfortunately, once the Dragon Age has passed :( we have to wait for another successing RPG... Hopefully, the age after that??

I don't think using your children as "lives" is a good idea. It just seems kinda silly. But children as a result of unprotected sexytimes as realism is fine... But Hawke will probably take a year or two off... Or lose the baby then :crying:

i really want this to be in the game, but i know it'll be very hard due to all the variations on faces unless the game made it possible for you to create your kid's face through a character creator, but even then there's the fact that kids grow up fast in 10 years.

even with all this against it, i really want to see it made :P

No kids, rather happy exciting college student life, than some happy ending with LI, that you won't care much for. That was almost like my DA:O ending, minus the kid.

Pre-ejaculate may contain sperm. This is true. So I guess dwarves+grey wardens are the solution:whistle:

I've actually said a few times that I think they are straying into Fable territory with this whole "ten year plot" thing, and I think that could be awesome because Bioware could pwn Fable if they wanted.  They could make what Fable is supposed to be and likes to pretend it is, but isn't.

Yeah, Peter Molyneaux can try to realize his vision all he wants, but until the character can interact with the world in more meaningful ways than thumbs up, cossack dancing, and farting, it just isn't going to happen.

Fable has its own niche. DA has its own niche. I'm going to buy both, get both, rather than having one infringe on the other. Like it better that way.

thankfully bioware has experience in creating good characters and dialogue so i'd be very interested to see their take on being a father or a mother in the game

Oh, I'm still going to buy Fable 3. Nothing decent has come out in months and John Cleese is in it.

if they do give us an option of becoming a parent, i beg of bioware to no kill them off simply because it is more dramatic.
