So I've just started a new rogue archer, and in the midst of my indecisiveness on how to distribute my attribute points have discovered a rather annoying glitch.
I was using the attribute redistribution exploit to see whether strength(/cunning if I decide to take lethality) or dexterity affects bow damage more. They both affect it equally, as I've since found in forums.
But the glitch I've found is that, according to my inventory screen, my attack statistic with the bow is moddified by .5 for each point of dexterity purchased in place of the 1 stated in the dexterity tooltip and game manual (ranged combat attack modifier). The same occured with strength. From what I can gather, the game is calculating the attack statistic as though my bow is a melee weapon, with .5 added per point of both strength and dexterity rather than 1 added per point of only dexterity.
Also, this makes lethality practically useless on a rogue archer. If I put points into strength, I gain damage and attack. Points in cunning with lethality, while affecting other talents as well, only gives me the benefit of damage in combat, not attack.
Has this been fixed in any of the patches? Or is there going to be a patch to fix this at a later date?
And if not, is this a bug in how the game is reading my attack statistic, or just how the stat is displayed in the inventory screen?
I have yet to patch my game or notice anything that needs to be patched until now, and I don't see a reason to download the latest patch if it won't fix my problem.
Attack statistic glitched?

Also, I double checked this by switching between melee and dexterity. Both weapon types had the same attack stat, despite my high dexterity (which bows should benefit more from than melee weapons).

Alright, I downloaded the patch, and this has not been fixed. Still unsure whether this is a glitch in the inventory screen or how the game is actually calculating the statistic.
