That's as silly as asking: Who wins: My fallout 3 character or Hawke and Geralt combined (hint: I shoot them both in the head). You just can't compare different universes with different rules and if you do, then the outcome of such battle is clearly determined how one interpreted such rules and how much biased towards one particular ruleset that individual is. So basically the winner is who you like better.

Why not add Harry Dresden to the mix? Whatever universe the oponent comes from, he wins.

I think Geralt would beat Hawke like he stole something. Unless I've missed it we know nothing about Hawke other than he is a refugee. Geralt on the other hand is a witcher....

Impossible to say without more background information about Hawke.  Anyone who has played The Witcher knows Geralt is not above being utterly ruthless and violent on top of the fact his whole life revolves around combat arts and hunting monsters.  Not to mention his prowess with the ladies. :innocent:

Thanks for the link. I really love The Witcher and can't wait to get my hands in TW2. Now, doesn't it make us feel great to read stuff like that? Will they ever say something even close to that about DA2 or will DA2 fall into the "seem to be somewhat nerfed" category. "I can understand the “why”s, looking at it as a product and at sales numbers. But from a gamer’s point of view I just cannot agree with the direction almost every developer of RPG games goes nowadays."


Back to the fight, Maximus would still beat the crap out of both because he is hardcore too. And he's been fighting for some 2,000 years while these two guys have what, around 500 years experience considering the medieval background?

But realistically speaking, one single roundhouse kick by Chuck Norris is all it would take to put all 3 to the ground for good!

Damn Bioware, wanted me to grind a whole level on Howes men! 
What were they thinking????

First of all, it was like 3 and a half hours into the game. I had JUST leveled and the game didn't say anything about alchemy when I happily dumped all my points into combat skills. Three minutes later I get a quest that requires alchemy and I no longer have any points for it. I wasn't having any fun anyway, so I stopped playing. Sue me. And stop being such an elitist.

Geralt is a pale, apathetic loser. Hawke is an awesome, giant sword-swinging badass who has a sweet beard and can conjure giant hands out of the air to rip people in half.



So I guess Hawke wins.

You don't need any alchemy for that quest - it helps, sure, but I did it without the first time. It's not even all that hard...
