[edit] Heck, I wouldn't be surprised if BW would bring back Miranda in ME3 despite her actually dieing in ME2..

I fear bioware would annoy us with her younger copy then...

Its easy, simply have her not loyal and bring her to the Reaper fight.

Everyone else will remain alive.

More Miranda hate? whoope -_-. The reason Miranda is "so hard to kill" is because she's that damn good. The same can be said for garrus aswell, he's a Tank and a good fire team leader he's also hard to kill (unless you make him the tech expert which I'm sure kill smiranda as well) also the reason she won't die on theis hip is because she's the XO and with Shepard on the bride (she's even on the bridge if you take her with you to kill the oculous.)

I killed her purely to erase the failure that is her real-face-to-game-face transition.

How did BioWare screw THAT up?

It won't bother me, unless it's announced that out of the LI's, only Miranda returns. I'm okay with her being plot relevant, as long as I don't *have* to romance her to have a continued romance with someone from me2.

Oh well. It is the way it is. Miranda is hard to kill. Get over it.

Aside from the teeth, I don't think Miranda's in-game face is that bad....but I do think they could've done the transition much better. I wouldn't put Miranda's face and Yvonne's together if it wasn't announced by Bioware.

Well, I don't go that far, but I totally agree.

You do know Yvonne has rabbit teeth too right? :police:

I have taken disloyal Miranda to face the HR, and can confirm that she does die.
In fact, the "worst possible playthrough" can and has killed her too. How else would it be left with only Morinth and Kasumi?

It's hard to kill loyal Miranda, but if you don't want her that badly, why are you going to the trouble of making her loyal?

I will laugh my ass off if Bioware made her important to the Cerberus story and if you killed her, you can't take down TIM. Now that would be funny.

So? I didn't say that particular feature isn't consistent, I just said it looks bad. and it does. On yvonne as well.

It's just my opinion.

The uncanny valley is strong in Miranda, no doubt. I've become desensitized now but at the beginning I thought they should've just gone with a different face.

I remember that long flamewar thread about the Uncanny Valley before ME2 came out...

In good lighting=she is sexy

But really, all the human characters suffer uncanny.Miri is not the only on who suffers from it.

She looks great in certain cutscenes, but in actual gameplay...I don't know. Her appearance is so fragile when it comes to lighting, shadows, and environment.

If Miranda is the only one who comes back I would have to shoot myself...

wow no wonder games do not have very strong female characters and when one does everyone hates her. Or maybe everyone hates her because of the whole stupid ME 1 fiction where everyone thinks Cerberus is a bad thing. well guess what in Mass Effect 2 everyone found out that the little do gooders in the alliance turned its back on Shepard and basically sent a spy to spy on him and Cerberus on Horizion. Miranda is the best female in the game

I am definitely not a Cerberus supporter. But I love Miranda. Not sure about that connection. Maybe it's true of other people.

I find it a bit disturbing that the game forces any squad mates on you in the first place. The player should be able to recruit or not any character in the game. THE ONLY character the game should not function with out is the PC the rest should all be disposable with out too much effort. The recruitment of any squaddie should be at the discretion of the player, Jack is annoying just fly on by, Tali over rated just leave her to the Geth, Miranda getting on your nerves just flush her out of an airlock. But then again i am that guy in DAO that ditches Morrigan in Lotharin and feels relieved about it, nothing pisses me off more than plot armor and no choice about it.

I'm not so sure about that youtube video being proof she can die on the long walk
I am not saying it's fake, but the Grunt glitch in it, makes me wonder if Miranda being carried off was a glitch too
(or some random fluke - since someone has to die during the biotic bubble failing scene)

either way, I'm not going to think too much into it Image IPBImage IPBImage IPBImage IPB

o.k. back to your regularly scheduled discussion(s)
