Plus, you have to consider that even making her a little bit killable is the same as making her a lot killable, implementation-wise. They'll still have to account for a situation where she's dead in ME3. So yeah, I think it's just because she gives you instructions.

Yes, but chances are very low that you'd accidentally kill her off. Every other squadmate is more likely to die from uninformed decisions than Miranda.

True and more to the point, the only two ways of doing this are:

1) If Miranda is disloyal and goes with you to the final mission.

2) Miranda gets gibbed as part of "Hold the Line" (and that is very unlikely even if she is disloyal)

Then I was extremaly (un)lucky:) She died on Hold the line part. The only one dead I had.

Because any non-loyal character will die after the final boss battle, it might
make her statistically just as likely to die as some other characters. She will
be one of fewer surviving characters when you get to that final section of the
game. So it's a higher probability that players would take her to fight the
human reaper and potentially kill her.

I agree completely. In fact, she is one of the few characters in the game that
can become disloyal after being made loyal, which is a counter to the
"extremely hard to get rid of" preconception.

what Bioware screwed up on was adding stupid ME 1 fan service in ME 2 especially with the annoying dumb little girl quarian who screams Shepard i trusted you most of the time.

Oh I agree. In some scenes, Miri looks like she came out of a grave, but all the the human squadmembers, including Shepard also suffer from nightmare fuel like that.

I don't like the way Bioware always likes some characters more than others. Like how Miranda, Jacob, Kaidan and Ashley were advertised more than any other squadmate despite them being the least interesting ones.

I don't like how Tali made it purley into the game due to her crazy fans when we could have had Liara or Virmire survivor, but we all have our opinions

None of them have nearly as many as miranda...

jacob does, and kasumi's face is pretty much covered. Zaeed is ugly from the start so he dosen;t really need to get judged in that way
