Something I miss from ME1

When your character gets hit, someone usually yells, "Shepard has been hit."
I know it is a small thing but I liked it. I hope in ME3, they put that back in.
Also, would be nice to have one of the characters yelling out your name when you die?
Shepard: *dies*
Garrus: SHEPARD!!!!

Heck, maybe even have your LI (if you have one) run to your corpse.
Shepard? SHEPARD? SHEPAAAAARD!

you see shepard, Illusive man is actually an AI that sent you in this mission to bring a virus to the reapers so that they can rule the world as they are your exact genetic clones even if they look like giant octopussies but you screw things up as you discovered the truth by now discovering it when you were in your first mission back in 1989 too bad for you I has a more dark secret tortured plan but that's for the next game that will only content dialouge. infiltration at its best.
Hey now....There's not a Metal Gear game that I dont like (except for the portable ones...those strait sucked IMO.) I liked GotP best believe it or not even though it was heavily story driven. It closed up Solid Snake's story very nicely. Which, btw, Hideo Kojima has announced another game in the franchise that is going to center around Raiden (and yes, I liked Raiden in GotP but not SoL lol) called Metal Gear: Rising. There's no launch date yet of course but I think they'll probably announce something at next year's E3 seeing as how they announced Peacewalker this year....Sorry, had to hijack the thread there for a sec....Im done now lol.

But seriously, back on the topic of just how awesome it'd be if squadmates actually acknowledged you being hit or dieing during combat.
It'd certainly add to the immersiveness.

The NES and playstation were ok. But after that, it's just total psychedelic nonsense. Even Lost has a more coherent scenario.

Going back to ME1 has led me to believe the animation was far better in that respect. ME2 walking animation just felt wrong from the start.
Also, certain gameplay mechanics are sorely missed.
