Hi, I'm one of Tali biggest fan and i read that a lot of people want to see Tali real face in Mass Effect 3 and i don't understand why?. I mean , it because of the mask that makes her so mysterious and cute, And a lot of us love Tali so we all want her to be beautiful, but every one have different taste so how can Bioware made a face for Tali that satisfy us all. So her face can be made beautiful to some people, but other people may disapointed in it, So why don't we keep it a secret so each of us could always know that she is very beautiful without being disapointed if bioware made her face not match with our taste.:?
I'm just expressing my thoughts, No offence of anything Image IPB.

As long as she doesn't come crying at me for trying to play with her, then I am fine with both mask/no mask. Saying ''hi'' to her is clearly indication of affection.

I AM OFFENDED BY YOUR OPINION, FREE SPEECH ANGERS THE COUNT.

Personally, I'd like to see her face, she should be able to control the opacity of her visor.

If they unmask her, then all the people with unreasonable crushes on her will be mad because she won't look like they imagined her to look, and most of the "I HEART TALI" crap would go away. Actually, they need to unmask her as fast as possible.

If they unmask her, there will be riots.

Despite all they say, fans actually don't want to see her unmasked. because there is no way everyone would be satisfied. And also by judging how lamely Bioware handles faces and motion capture, thing will get ugly fast.

Judging by how outdated the graphics are in Unreal Engine 3, I think it should be better for Bioware to not show her face.

exactly.  I can already see the WHY IS TALI SO UGLY threads now, even if they use some victoria's secret model as a template for her face or something.  And the inevitable discussion regarding how stupid "your definition of hot" is because you don't understand "true beauty" or something.

The worlds best beuaty is that you can imagine. Emphasis on "you" and "imagine". Why pin a face/body if every individual fan already got his "true" image of hers in his mind. I don't want to see her face and I would looove more teasing on that on BioWare's side.

Totally agree. Alot of her appeal and mystique is how she looks behind the mask. Everyone has their own idea on what she looks like. No way Bioware can put a face on her, as half the fan base would reject it.

I think the ending of Mass Effect 3 should be something like (also, this is relevent to the topic :P) :

Tali: Shepard! You did it! Yo...You activated the convenient plot device destroying the Reapers! W...We did it! B...But I don't see any of the other squad members. We...we're all... that's left *cough*...And I'm not going to last long...I've been shot and because  medigel is seemingly ineffective at important moments, I don't think I can be saved :(.

Shepard: Tali! No! Please, there must be something I can do?

Tali: ...*cough*, *cough*, No, Shepard, my death will make this more dramatic, I cannot... be... saved... Please... t...t...take off m..my mask, I don't...want to die in my...mask. Let me...feel the air...against my fa...face.

*Shepard slowly lowers Tali's mask. Before you can see her face there is a Renegade option letting you spit in the gap*

*The camera then turns to Shepards face who lets out a tear just before Tali's face is shown*

*Then the camera zooms in on Tali's legs, slowly moving up her curvy body. Then, JUST before it gets to her mask Shepard closes it up as she dies*

*Then you see Shepard's squad appear in the background as Shepard remembers that he actually left them on his ship because he has trouble watching more than two people at once*

The words "Mass Effect 3" then comes up on the screen and at the end of the credits a special note saying "The name Mass Effect actually refers to the MASSive negative EFFECT that Tali's death will have on fans impression of the game.

I think people, in general, aren't satisfied with the unknown. People have a compulsion to take mystery out of their lives especisally if it's something or some one they like/love. I guess I would say it human nature that we want to unmask tali. But I agree with OP, keep it a mystery

Agreed. I can still remember all the BAWWWW about Miranda's teeth. "OMG SHE'S SUPPOSED TO BE PERFECT! THAT MEANS NO OVERBITE! F.U. BIOWARE!"

At least you straight folks get romances... <_<

Why thank you, but the only hero here is Tali, taken before her time by a ball of saliva :(.

If people do find out what she looks like, the one thing that makes her so unique will be gone. A far better alternative in my opinion is to show what another female Quarian looks like (maybe show one in Mass Effect 3 with her helmet broken) as this narrows down what she may look like but still leaves some mystery.

Nice thinking OP. I agree. I'd love to see Tali's face, but your points are very well made. I'm not 1 of the Tali Cultists, but I think Tali is an incredible character. Her mission in 2 was very powerful.

Sometimes it's the unknown that makes a character incredible or intrigueing. When you take that away, it can flatten the character often.

I'd love to see what Master Chief looks like under his helmet, but he's not exactly a poet, he speaks little, though is badass when he does. The mystery around him is a huge element of who he is, removing the helmet may ruin that, hope you get me there.

So ye, i agree with you totally, although I have faith that Bioware would get it right if they ever did make the decision to remove Tali's helmet. :)

I raged like hell when they did the zoomout from his ship at the end of halo 1 as you hear the sound of him removing his helmet.

Hahahaha, who didn't!!! But now, would you really want to see him?:P How could it ever live up to your expectations? I prefer mystery over a chance of disappointment. A faceless hero always has at least 1 huge secret up their sleave.
