Well, I have been playing DA:O in an other computer and I never had this problem, but I got a new computer and installed DA:O here; but after I while when I'm walking (using my keyboard for walking (the default keys: W,A,S,D)) my character suddenly stops and I keep pressing the buttoms. How can I solve this? It's quite annoying to be walking into a fight and my characters stops meters away of the fights.

Any third-party mod(s) installed that can cause this issue?

None. Only the original DA:O, DLCs and Awakening. (All patches)

Are you still able to move your character by left-clicking on the screen?

Are you using a keyboard that uses the generic Windows driver or that requires specific driver to be installed?

It required a specific driver.

So first, update your keyboard driver with the latest version available on the manufacturer web site. Then search on this forum for references to your keyboard (for this, you can use Google by type "site:social.bioware.com", without the quotes, before your search string). If after all this, the issue remains, then try to use a standard keyboard in place of your current one.
