Sorry if this has been discussed already, but what do you think the likelihood is that Legion will be in the next game? Was his purpose in finding Shepard only to stop the collectors, or will he keep helping to stop the Reapers? Also, do you think he would return to the Geth to organize against the reapers or stay on his own?

I suspect Legion will be infected by a reaper virus (and will also receive upgrades) and begin to hunt Shepherd as an assassin. At some critical point Legion will confront Shepherd in battle, and you will have to either kill him (renegade option) or remind him of who he/it was before the virus by pointing out the piece of Shepherd's armor he is still wearing (thus counteracting it somehow). Prior to the encounter you will get suble hints that you are being followed or stalked here and there.

Just made that up, but it sounds good to me.

he will obviously continue to help fight the Reapers. He was searching for Shepard to stop the Reapers, not the Collectors.

Unless he died in your playthrough.

If Legion get's affected with virus then I don't think you can persude him.
Besides idea is cliched. lame and it would outrage most Legion fans( considering you are Legion fan).

Legion is a Mac, The Reapers are Microsoft!
Nazara was probably working for Reaper Bill Gates.
Seriously though Legion completes my full engineer squad, which is very cool, fighting with three attack drones and all that.

I'm a bit sad you get Legion so late in the game. It really kills a lot of conversation opportunities. Especially if you do most of the N7 missions before you get him.

Or you could just wait for his recruitment to do them.

Or you could play on PC or mod your 360 save game. I do that. Unlock Legion for use with combat and mission dialog. You just have to be sure not to have Legion when you recruit legion.

Yeah that sort of doesn't help on your first playthrough of the game.

Now I just mod my save and get Legion from the beginning so...I always have him! Ah I <3 Legion.

I just love when you ask him about your armor and he responds "No Data Avaliable." Just adorable.

Question: Just curious. What happens? The game crashes or you just can't go on? And do I need to make Legion "vanish" when I take him aboard the ship at the Reaper IFF?

How do you guys think ME3 will be affected if you sold Legion to Cerberus?

I'm not sure if this will be the case, but my presumption would be since Legion isn't there to tell Commander Shepard about the Heretic's virus that they would be successful and make all Geth worship the Reapers. I certainly don't see it being a good thing, that's for sure...

No, I believe it defeats the purpose. I once took him on his own recruitment mission and not only was there a squadmate missing (only one legion can be rendered at a time I guess) but all dialog with him was essentially broken. No matter how many missions I did, I could never get a conversation from him.

I'm fairly certain this has to do with the fact that when I got back on the Normandy, there was already a Legion standing in the AI core.

My advice, before doing the Reaper IFF, remove Legion from the recruited characters in Gibbed's Save Editor, do the mission, and reactivate him the normal way.

If I did his loyalty mission before hand the game won't break will it?

Doubt it'll have any impact on anything, I wish it did though because it's such an odd choice that nobody picks.

Though that's probably more reason on why they won't reference it.

There are many people who done it, mostly for replay value.

Yeah but I heavily doubt that's a very large %.

I'm not sure. If anything breaks it will be his dialog on the Normandy. It is likely though, I believe I did something similar where I had gotten Tali's loyalty mission and even though I went back and made it so that I didn't have her, I still had it in my journal.

So I think it would probably register that you had done it, thus breaking the game. FOREVER.

If you enjoy it so much, just stick a save before you do it so that you can play it whenever. If you want his dialog then don't do it before you get him.

I imagine the heretics will use the virus, resulting in the true geth becoming the minority before they're able to form a resistance against the virus.

That was my suspicion, too. Especially since it is just the sort of shortsighted decision that Bioware long-term plots tend to punish by limiting future options.

I can vouch from personal experience for things working properly if Legion's loyalty mission is actually completed before resolving the IFF mission, (his recruitment) -  dialogue and everything will work fine.

I have not tested doing the IFF mission with Legion recruited "via  Editor" before I actually did his LM.

Legion and Thane is my ultimate squad, I love Legion. But... why does he have a regular rifle when you first meet him? Why not a geth rifle?
