I was wondering about how Legion communicates with the Geth. When he is building a consensus, is it with other geth or is that just how he makes a decision? I was always somewhat confused by this.

When Legion is building a consensus, it is occurring between the programs that make him up, not the greater geth network. Legion needs permission from Shepard to contact the rest of the geth.magelet wrote...

Legion has 1,183 programs inside of him, each is what organics would consider a VI system. Whenever he says he is 'building a consensus' It means that he is communicating with his 1,183 other programs. He uses the geth network for information retrieval.

That and Legion was designed to interface with organics. He/it/them--whatever--probably wants to appear as non-threatening as possible, even down to the point of using non-geth weapons.
I didn't even know there was a thread for my favoritest robot gestalt consciousness until just now. I thought Legion was absolutely fascinating in ME2, and I loved how Legion and EDI represented AIs that still raised moral dilemmas without being monstrosities out to kill all organics. Legion is probably one of my favorite BioWare characters ever by virtue of being a monster sniper (I'm an Adept and sadly can't use the Widow) and filled with awesome.

i love Legion. My current playthrough I rushed to do the IFF mission just to get him so I can play all the loyalty missions with him and hear his input. Yes, I'm sacrificing my entire Normany crew for Legion. I love how when you ask him why he used Shep's armor, he says "there was a hole." Then you why but why Shepards armor, and he says "No data avalible." For me, that implies he has emotions, but cant put it into the phrases he normally used. Its like he's saying "because I like you," but he cant figure out what his feelings mean. My favorite Legion line so far.

So, Dr. Tran, some of you may know him as the person whom I co-admin the Tali'Zorah Foundation forums with, decided to do something amazingly, stupidly awesome this year as a present for me and kept it a hush hush secret for like MONTHS. I finally found out today what it was and just in time for my birthday on Thursday.
He edited and prepared the model for the following to be created... From what, I have no idea, because he wont tell me. I'm going to guess magic, or something.
