My only problem is, that he joins so late in the game, so I can't use him on many missions...

Just a quick question: if I do Legion's loyalty quest, after the crew was kidnapped by the Collectors, will they die?

I like Legion, and I'm planning to take him to Overlord, but I don't want to lose any crewmembers.

Yes, they will be abducted after his loyalty( presuming it's 2nd mission after IFF mission) and half of crew will die if you do 1-3 missions after abduction.

Also you can do Overlord after Suicide Mission.

As long as you go talk to him and get his loyalty mission before doing anything else after the IFF mission, then you'll have time to save the crew.

Hey guys, just dropping in to show my love for Legion!

I wonder why this support thread is pretty short seeming though in most of the polls I've seen, he is the second or third favourite character? How long was the previous Legion support thread?

Also, I have a question (don't I always?)

How do you think Legion feels about Tali?

Chrome killed the pages for loading slowly, so I pushed "back". And it posted thrice.

I don't think Legion feels.  I think his calculations find Tali a threat.

I disagree, perhaps geth aren't so advanced as to have solid emotions, but they certainly display irrational behaviour that does not conform to the structure of a 'machine.'

The famed example of Legion having Shepard's armour shows this. He claims it was a field repair, but he could have used something else. Of course, there is 'no data available.'

So I think he has the capabilities to have opinions of others (as an individual rather than a consensus.)

Yes i have to agree, that Legion diffinitely has some basic emotions. If you've played LotSB and read legion's dossier then you know that he trash talks in a shooter game and more importantely has bought but not played a eden prime game that was for charity.

The only crash I can think of is when trying to go to the crashed geth ship, but usually just restarting the mission seems to fix it.

Legion: Creator origin deemed a possible threat. Data mined from her Omni-tool on her father's activities raised suspicions. Our data was not complete, however. Shepard-Commander had perspective we did not. Shepard-Commander assisted us in reaching a more correct consensus, whilst convincing Creator Tali Zorah to not damage this platform upon gaining knowledge of our scanning.
Creator Tali Zorah is a member of Shepard-Commander's crew. Through observed actions we have reached consensus that she is to be trusted as much as Shepard-Commander.
Link to Creator people considered useful in our future. The Threat of the Old machines may require unit cohesion between Geth and Creators although there is a 98.9334% chance of failure to achieve this.

Something like that...

At least it isn't 100% failure I guess! She may be a threat, but we were discussing it on the Tali thread, and I thought that she used to hate the geth like her father did. But after realising that the geth she fought in ME1 were heretics, she had become more accepting of Legion. Although Legion appears to be the 'innocent' one in their confrontation, I was wondering what he thought of Tali, a quarian.

And Legion on online games was so hilarious. Mind you, if I was a geth, I would kick a** on games too!

I think Legion believes Tali is threat to him/them but I believe chances of them and Geth & Quarians in general bigger then 1.0666%.

In that monologue, Legion is not factoring in the abilities of Commander Shepard to sway people minds, as that is technically different for each player.
As Legion has not worked around Commander Shepard for very long, his observational data on Shepard is incomplete. Only after the Omega-4 relay mission, and assuming he survived, would Legion consider Shepard to be a much more major factor in the Quarian-Geth conflict.
At least, that's what I think.

what was the point of that awkward dialogue? is the consensus that legion rly did it for practical purposes and simply stated as such?

I would like to add my support to legion being recruitable in mass effect 3. Personally he is one of my fav characters but because of his late entrance in 2 I fear he may not play a large part in 3, plus the fact that all of my fav characters seem to get shafted *sigh*

It is my personal belief that the geth do not actually know themselves as much as they think. As more programs come online, the more they get a sense of individuality. They do not realize it but they are continuously evolving and starting to experience what is the precursor to organic emotions. He answered "There was a hole" because he simply had no data to justify the repair any further. He did not exactly know why he repaired himself with Shepard's armor.
Or his platform is having data from the main Geth collective withheld from him for some reason due to Legion starting to evolve and adapt on his own (In time, Legion's geth programs could, in theory, end up developing into different kind of geth from the rest of the geth similar to how the Heretics had different basic beliefs and left the main collective. No party was/is incorrect, they are just different individual collectives.)
