It is my personal belief that the geth do not actually know themselves as much as they think. As more programs come online, the more they get a sense of individuality. They do not realize it but they are continuously evolving and starting to experience what is the precursor to organic emotions. He answered "There was a hole" because he simply had no data to justify the repair any further. He did not exactly know why he repaired himself with Shepard's armor.volus4life wrote...
what was the point of that awkward dialogue? is the consensus that legion rly did it for practical purposes and simply stated as such?
Or his platform is having data from the main Geth collective withheld from him for some reason due to Legion starting to evolve and adapt on his own (In time, Legion's geth programs could, in theory, end up developing into different kind of geth from the rest of the geth similar to how the Heretics had different basic beliefs and left the main collective. No party was/is incorrect, they are just different individual collectives.)
yeah, in ME3, i hope they explore the possibility of legion developing on his own path, since he spends a lot of time disconnected from the geth collective (IIRC).
next time on omega, i want legion to go up on the stage with the gogo dancers and do the robot with them.

Legion is one of my favorite plot turns ever. It would be hilarious beyond words to romance him - I'd totally do it.

I'm not going to forgive Bioware if I don't get Legion back in ME3. Seriously, you hardly get to use him at all in ME2 because you get him so late and then you basically can't dally around. What the heck?! I feel cheated.

I think that would be awesome. Though now all I can picture is Legion being utterly fascinated while watching Garrus calibrateScrith wrote...
You should have crewmembers walking around the ship instead of stoning in one spot.

You know, I just beat the game a couple of hours ago and beyond all his excellent dialogue there was just something about Legion that was sticking with me. I'm not surprised I found the answer to my allure here on the social boards.

have legion and kelly shaking their booty together?
or both doing the robot together?
can't go wrong either way, imo.

Trudat. And characters should develop relationships with each other; my ME2 squad didn't seem to get along. Conversations between them seems unnaturally rare.

I was terrified of those things in ME1. The dastardly devs spent dozens of hours of an entire game conditioning me to fear the sight of those head-lamps and hate the buzzing data transfer sound when they "talk" to each other.
Then along comes Legion in ME2 after a game largely devoid of geth, and breaks down all that conditioning in under three minutes. Seriously, game magic right there.

Gibbed's Save editor my friend. Absolute god send. I unlock legion before I get a single squadmember, that's how much I love the guy.
I use him the whole rest of the game too.
