say since the ps3 may be able to fit me2 on 1 disc (or so i've heard) maybe the ps3 version you can get legion early wihout editing + whatever intro content (maybe related to legion because he went where shepard did prior to me2) ... just a thought.

Yes, Mass Effect 2 will be on 1 Blu-ray disc but it won't make Legion recruitable early. Then they would need to create new mission for IFF and make up reason for Shepard and his crew to get to Derelict Reaper.

me2 for the ps3 could be more of a sandbox. admitly you would still need to do the same amount of missions so i did phrase that wrong ,but maybe the ps3 version lets you recruit who you want like thane first ,also you could do side missions, get horizon which you still have to do as soon as you get the update from tim. after that you could do a few more missions for the derelict collecter ship which would unlock the reaper iff. in other words you could have thane and legion with you on archangel's recruitment and maybe bioware would let us do a few more missions before the crew gets taken.

That would have been nice, but ME2 could have also been installed completely on the PC to allow for the originally planned full recruitment, but they decided to keep it the same as the XBox. I just wish Bioware had insisted I keep changing the discs even though the game is full installed on my XBox HD.

Anyway, problem with getting Legion early is that his recruitment is tied to the Derelict Reaper mission. Whatever you do in the game, his recruitment is dictated by the story progression that takes you from Horizon to the Collector Ship and then to the Derelict Reaper.

There are ways to get Legion in the game sooner, but it's all modding. And the guy who made the Gibbed Save Game Editor has moved on to other things, so don't know what option the PS3 players get for modding.

Samara, Tali, and Thane all have dialogue for Horizon and the recruitment missions before it. So does Legion except for, if I remember correctly, Horizon.

Thane says nothing.
Uploader claims that nether Samara/Morinth or Legion have dialogue.

Well I thought that you would unlock horizon and collector ship to the iff recruiting who you wanted in any order so I could hear legion tell jack a punch to the face is likely, but thane having no dialogue ruins that theory.
also so I won't waste anymore more of your time I should tell you if legion is the only squadmate alive at the end run the game just gives the worst ending. I found that really odd since I saw him run up the hill into the normandy and when I got there he had teleported...yeah I know it's the same for all of them but legion should count for 11 squadmates and a robot Urz. I saw a video of a mod where the person had 10 talis 2 garrus's and 1 shepard at the same time and legion with his widow and sniper upgrades can kill people faster. I also find it odd how they made legion's combat drone ,I think its name is bender, is blue yet if you level up the class and sheild you can't make bender a completely blue attack drone. when the infinite points glitch worked legion was extremely powerful. I miss that glitch. I think I wasted more of your time

I'd say it's because Horizon was one of the last developed, thus had its dialogue recorded after they made the decision to split the dossiers. But then why would Tali have dialogue? Unless maybe they debated having her recruitable before or after Horizon all the way up until the last minute.

Well, hey, Legion does save you by himself with that sniper rifle on the Derelict Reaper.

Of course, the bastard just happened to disappear on me when the husks and scions came out in force and I needed him the most.

My theory is that they add Horizon at last minute and decided not to have Legion, Thane and Samara/Morinth until after Horizon then later make Tali also and Legion's recruitment was even more delayed until Collector Ship mission and add to him IFF.

i actually redid the mission where samara and miranda get squished legion and grunt were the only two left holding grunt was unloyal yet they both lived. it was glorious as grunt walked on the collectors body as legion predicted the collectors movements what a team those 1184
