I am uses Win 7 Home Premium 64-bit, I had issues with the game randomly crashing but solved that with the download of the mss32.dll file, however, both before and after this dl, every time I go to leave Taris the game follows through with the video of them bombarding the planet afterwards, then as soon as that video ends the game minmizes and i won't re-maximize no matter what I do (tried C+A+D, using the maximize and bring to front options) Any help or ideas on how to fix this would be greatly appreciated.

KotOR is very old now, and doesn't get along at all well with many modern PC components, particularly the Direct3D oriented graphics cards. KotOR was written for a different graphics orientation (OpenGL), and Radeons, particularly, but also the very newest of Geforces, simply don't work.

Ok... Well I would agree with you considering how long I've been gaming, but as I am doing nothing but watching a cut scene when it does this, there is nothing on my end that I am doing to cause this.

I'm also having this problem. It happened to me when I left Tatooine and before the "arrival" cutscene for the next planet occurs.

Please do not resurrect ancient, buried old corpses from the archival graveyard. Six months is the age limit to work within. Prepare your own message, based on the kind of information Selene suggested for NWN1. The two games share the same game engine.
