I have a level 47 Sheppard in which I played ME2 and completed and I went back to ME1 replayed to get somethings changed beat it again and tryed to import my new level sheppard. It shows both the different level sheppards but wont let me start a new game with the character I want. The one I don't is the first one i used and beat  and still lets me import but it shows  in orange the new character level and won't let me import  to start a new game. How do I get it so the one I want is usable. Thank you.

The post below is by me, exactly the same problem, been trying to work it out all day, but to no luck, I've killed saren about 10 times so far today, just trying different things, before I clear the cache, after I clear, if I don't apply the me 2 update, do apply it, I think there must be something screwed up in a recent update.

Use the d-pad in order to navigate between different character saves. Using the analog stick does not work.

I've searched all day.. found a few other things on here saying about the same issue but no response.. I don't know if I should declare you a saviour or swear alot at bioware for it!

No problem. It was a pretty cheap move on BioWare's part not enabling the analog stick for selecting importable characters, but what can you do?
