I've created a custom headmorph in the toolset for a new character (hm mage, if it matters).  The only real problem I was having was with his hair.  I wanted to use the stubble (Sheppard) on his head, but when I change "hair color" it still looks black in the toolset view.  After a while trying to find an answer, I decided it didn't really matter because I wanted black/dark brown anyway.  So I finished up, posted to local, made my new game and edited the headmorph in.  Everything worked fine here, too, EXCEPT: ingame the stubble is bright blonde.  How/why the heck does this happen and what can I do about it?

EDIT: Screenshots to illustrate.  First is the toolset appearance (which is what I want)

Second is what he looks like ingame (bad hairday)

After further effort I have come to the conclusion that head stubble does not support tints from Pineappletree's Vibrant Colors.  Those tints work fine for hair, beards, and facial stubble, but not on top of the head.  Is anyone able to confirm/deny this?

This is true.  Download the file from here and use a chargen compiler.

Or you can open the morph file and go to

MORPH_TINTFILENAMES

and change the value in the 11th string.

For example if you used Pineappletree's color "pt_har_bk3", it will look like this:

t1_stbpt_har_bk3

you will have to change that to:

pt_stb_bk3

I hope that helps.
