Welcome aboard the Wynne hate club! For the best results, combine Wynne with a party of Loghain, Morrigan, or Zevran.

I actually feel bad for Wynne whenever Zevran gets a hold of her. He's so merciless. Even Morrigan pales in comparison.

Bah, I don't. If she stopped trying to nag him into expressing remorse, he might just stop mocking her.

At least Loggy shuts her up.

Loghain: You look as though you want to say something, Wynne. What's stopping you? You've never held your tongue for politeness's sake before.
Wynne: No, it's nothing.
Loghain: Why should that matter? There have been plenty of occasions in the past when you've had nothing to say and said it anyway. Loudly, in fact.

I LOVE Loghain for being able to shut her up!! :D:devil:

I see what I've been missing. Next time I'm masochistic enough to bring Wynne, I'll be sure to recruit Loghain. I didn't initially dislike Wynne, but given what I've learned of her background, I sure do now. Age does not equal wisdom. Spending life in a Tower grants no insight on the way of the world. Fairytales do not make you an expert on the Wardens. Lecturing about one's duties as a warden, then switching gears and lecturing about one's duty to the Circle, on the advice of an apostate  is hypocritical. And any grown woman who spouts off about love being selfish automatically loses all respect in my book.

I got the impression especially from Return to Ostagar, that Wynne was kind of ****ty back in her youth.

So in essence, she has no right to talk about my character's relationships. <_<

Oh no doubt - she even admits she wasn't very nice. But the problem is that she hasn't changed much.

When I take her to RtO with Loggy I really just want to tell her to STFU and leave the poor guy alone. But he does hold his own pretty well.

I just wrote a fanfic about this.

And it is true to life. There is an elderly woman of my acquaintance who is the very model of moral rectitude in her community. She moved away from her home state after college and never returned. I know why.

If you mention her, using her maiden name, to any gentleman of her generation who went to college with her they get a distant look on their face. They then smile reminiscently and change the subject. I had to dig, but I got the story and then got confirmation from several sources.

It seems the lady in question had a very good time in college. The capper was a contest that she won where all the contestants wore swim suits and bags over their heads. My friend won, but it came out that she won because she had 'persuaded' the judges earlier all at once in a motel room. I can not actually use her nickname in this forum.
