Will DA2's current marketing campaign appeal at all to new female players.

Out of curiousity, what did you think I was saying?
I am thinking it is too late for me to listen to my brain and some definations got mixed up in there.
Ya. Math and science. Those things are easy for me. Vocabulary, spelling, proper grammer have always been the areas I struggle in and have led to me sticking my foot in my mouth more then this once.
I apologize for any confusion and will just shut up now. At least untill I get some sleep.

Well it's obvious you have no idea how statistics work. You do not have to ask literally everyone in the world a question in order to gather data about something. Once you get a big enough sample size, it will be representative of the entire population (meaning that your data would be the same even if you asked a larger number of people).

Research surveys are the spawn of Satan and only exist to mislead you.
Depends on the organization running it. Usually those results you see on TV come much later after the actual researchers have had a chance to look at the data and handed it off to whatever corporate overlord they work for.
That's why everyone should have some understanding of how gathering statistics work and the math behind it. Those overlords will jazz hands the money right out of your pocket.

Flip a coin
Do you need to keep flipping coins for eternity, or flip every coin in existence to prove your point? No.
EDIT: In all fairness, it's impossible to get 50/50 with only three flips.

I don't know, I enjoyed Baldur's Gate (the first one) and there were no romances in that game...
Besides, you seem to be pretending that male gamers don't like romance, in spite of all the people complaining about how DA2 won't let them search for their true love, Morrigan.

One of my all-time favorite games is Metal Gear Solid 3. Romantic!
(It's about as romantic as your average Bond film)
