Mike Laidlaw only mentioned she will be unveiled. How and in what form will remains to be seen. I would hope that she gets some press coverage and not a blip.

That's what I'm saying, if a game is considered great and amazing would the option of simply being a female really make or break the sale?

It depends on the game for me. Altho I'd rather spend my cash on a game that gave me a choice of being a female.

she most likely wont, it'll most likely be like the mass effect series.

Male hawke will be in the marketing campaigns and fem hawke will be in concept art/pictures/*maybe* videos on the game's website.

I mentioned earlier in the thread (much earlier) that I will play a game with a male character (if the game interests me) and will occasionally even choose to play a male.  However, I definitely like having the choice to play a female, as that is what I will choose most of the time.
