I love tow atch the creativity... but I was an assitant, architect, and assitant, mason... the ending of pieces of art are great, to look at, even looking at the process, but when your down swinging it.... it isn't fun

Maybe thats why I dont find it  fun to watch the process.

Still, everyone has hobbies, and I certainly involved my self in same type of work, on other things, that I found personally rewarding .

For example, building costumes, I like, and is not so bad... takes a lot of time, but not as much as detailed weaponry, as the one displayed in the M8 thread.

Still, I got admit, costume making takes, less time in some istances, so maybe that is why.

Heck, no, it isn't fun while you're doing it. People underestimate the sheer amount of time and work it takes to do what seems like the simplest thing. I used to hate sanding, took forever, especially when you were doing something really small with precise edges and details and such. I also hated how mistakes grow. If something is off by a 16th of an inch the whole project will quickly be off by 4 inches. So frustrating. Now you have to start over.

is like stone... or marble... you make a mistake of less than an inch somewhere, and it translates into almost a feet down the line....

Same is for all geometry though lol, in marksmanship you go off by less thana degree and it translates into feet.

Still, making costumes is not so bad.... although I never have gotten the crotch area to be comfortable...
