Michael Gamble said that this DLC is the first real bridge between the ME2 and ME3 story, so i think it will be post-SM. Anyway, i'm almost sure that other news will be released tomorrow, Gamble said that other news will be released as the release date gets closer, and the 7th is the next tuesday.

Man this DLC is so over-hyped. I bet the people who hype this DLC the most will also complain and flame the most after they played the DLC and it turned out not to be as good as they expected.

i second that i am trying not hype up about this because i no bioware will not deliver the most satifying DLC just a standered one yes we can hope for better but the odds are stacked against us

My only concern is that Liara return to a similar personality as the first game.

We already killed Liara's mother, I don't think we're gonna kill the father too, so SB is not her father imo.

The 1st makes a bit more sense. 
Two years ago, Shepard was only a corpse to be given to the collectors. Liara just an asari with very strong feelings for Shepard. No big plans there.

The SB decided two years ago not to go after Liara for what she did

I agree that "SB is an A.I." would be a huge cop-out, and I doubt that's where BioWare is going . No doubt the SB uses sophisticated hardware and software to analyze all that data, but s/he is a sapient organic individual. I think of him/her is being a master of psychohistory, as described in Isaac Asimov's Foundation.
