I don't think the SB was responsible for spreading around the "he/him" type thing. I think it's just a public assumption that will end up being true.

Since BioWare doesn't make female aliens, a female SB would have to be an asari, a human, or a quarian. The latter two I really don't see happening - at all.

An asari SB would be great, but I doubt it's going to happen. Just a hunch.

I prefer female villians on occasion, makes me feel bad about killing them. Central villians, like Saren, are better as men, but minor characters have more personality as women.

Sorry if I missed this, but are we sure that the Liara DLC will be post-suicide mission? Someone wrote that on another (irrelevant) topic.

No, it isn't sure, there are only assumptions based on what the devs revealed.

So? Femshep is also masculine and Commander Shepard is also a kind of role you normally wouldn't give to a female. Yet that doesn't stop people from playing femShep and a few people even highly prefering femShep over manShep (note: I'm not one of them).

Oh, femShep is highly superior to dudeShep. But even though BioWare allows people to make a femShep, they obviously don't like the idea, since they don't advertise it as a game feature on the website or anywhere outside some forum comments.

But, like I said, a female SB has to be an asari, a human, or a quarian. Put that on top of all the masculine dialogue and everything and I jsut don't see it happening. If it does I will be surprised; that's all.

Alright, thanks. I'm desperately hoping it is post-suicide mission for obvious reasons :)

I think it has to do with Mark Vanderloo and we all know she is in Mass Effect =].

Me too, also if this means that i will do the last 2 missions before playing the DLC.

Having the first post-SM DLC = Finally something really NEW.

I really think that this DLC will be post-SM. Let's waiting for some news tomorrow. I only want to know if the DLC will be Pre or Post, and maybe some new screenshots/trailer.

I'll say it AGAIN.

The Shadow Broker is in fact The Keepers.

It makes perfect sense when you think about it.

Mark van der Loo has become the icon of Shepard. He's Shepard's face in all the Mass Effect advertisement. He's also the default face of the default male-Shepard. The default femShep isn't modeled after a (famous) model, her default face is just a generic face with a similar structure to those of the custom femSheps (while the Van der Loo face has quite a different structure than those of the custom maleSheps).

Long story short: Mark van der Loo is the Mass Effect poster boy and the option to play femShep in Mass Effect is just a cool extra is you will.

Back on topic:

I still think the Shadow Broker is an A.I. or an Asari (hence a female if the latter). Maybe a Drell (not Feron) but still I think A.I. makes the most sense.

True, although she looks a lot like Annie Wersching from the last two seasons of 24.

Shadow Broker is a human man or an AI. Otherwise the comic just doesn't make any sense.
