It depends, if the SB ends being a group of people, the one in the comics might have been already replaced.

Oooh that's true, forgot about that possibility. Though to be honest, I simply can't see it as being anything other than a human male. Simply because rule of cool dictates that TIM's opponent as far as information gathering goes must also be a genocidal gentleman.

Maybe you will only kill one of the Shadow Broker groups in ME2? Just because Liara says the Shadow Broker is dead doesn't mean that the Shadow Broker is actually dead. She might just think she killed him when, in reality, she only killed one of the group.

considering the Shadow Broker's reputation that has been built over the past 2 games/ books I think it's more likely that Shepard might reach him but won't have the chance to kill nor capture him. I would imagine an interplanetary information broker/ mob boss would have a couple tricks up his sleeve

I would still not put it past being the TIM and one big double bluff by him I mean they are both similar even Miranda says no one ever gets as close to TIM as Shepard was allowed so no one really knows what both look like except a select few it could also play in to the not killing him bit if he has someone playing for role for him

at the end of the lair all this could come out leading into me3

With the way that Bio Ware Set up plots who knows. I just though that the list likely idea would be the one to use. The same thing in murder mysterys. When all other options are gone what ever is left no mater how off it would seen has got to be the answer.

Except the League of One were all salarians and all died out YEARS ago, so the only way they can tie that in is if the final League of One member started a chain of information brokers over the years that passes on from person to person, group, or AI.
