They should say something, I won't hear it of course but it should be there, but it would not bug me asm uch as if Miri had nothing to say.Mr.BlazenGlazen wrote...
I hope they have something to say to Liara though. I mean they were all part of the ME1 crew. It would just seem out of character if they all just stay mute with each other.kraidy1117 wrote...

I want everyone squad member to have some sort of banter during the mission. Even if it was just one line.
Miri and Liara banter has to happen. If Tali and Garrus don't say anything, then it would't bug me at all but if Miri says nothing that is a huge oversight. Miri, a person who was involved in the get Shepard back operation, worked with Liara and even was there to calm her down and copmfort her. Says nothing to each other when you meet her on Illiumso yes they need to say something.

Garrus didn't have to be part of the ME1 squad. Easiest way to deal with that is to not give him any dialogue.
I'd imagine that this possibility would be ignored, in a similar vein as to how his dialogue references "old times" regardless of his recruitment status in ME1. He'd probably still be acquainted with Liara, even if he was not recruited in ME1.

Maybe if she joins the squad Jacob will find some way to passive aggressively insult her in the comm room.
Why does everyone say that it's Jacob's personal crusade to insult everybody!?
Personally, I think he'd like her just fine. He was friendly to the previous members of Shepard's squad who came aboard the Normandy and I don't think this would be much different.

This. I don't expect we will see any in this DLC.

I REALLY got pissed off at the debriefing after Thane's mission. Why was Jacob even there? That's the only time in the game when I truly wish there was a GTFO renegade interrupt of some sort.Junthor wrote...

Yeah. In all probability, it is unlikely that there will be extensive squadmate banter. It would be nice and is something that I would absolutely love, but it should not be expected.

You disagree? Look at the carry over decisions. They all turned out to be one conversation each, some a tad longer than others, but all relegated to the extremes of side-quest land.
When importing a Shep who didn't recruit Garrus, the only difference is that Garrus doesn't mention his being on the team and the initial greeting sentence is different.
When importing a Shepard who pissed off Tali she completely forgets that she didn't like you and turns into a fangirl.
When recruiting Morinth you end up with Samara's character model everywhere but the room on the Normandy, and the vast, vast majority of her dialogue is Samara's dialogue and voice. On top of that she gets only one dialogue tree on the Normandy as it is.
ME2 is full BioWare taking the easy way out. If you disagree, or think that's just my opinion, go ahead and point out my errors.
*Forgot to mention the email system as well. LOL, if that's not the easy way out I don't know what is.
