Whatever the deal is with this DLC, me buying it is a certainty.
Three things I'm looking forward to:
1) Flesh out Liara's character better than the main game did
2) The Shadow Broker is a very important figure in the game; I hope the DLC reflects that. For instance, what about the data concerning Admiral Kahoku - will that be taken into account?
3) I'm interested in what the achievements might bring, specifically biotic changes.

From the description in the ME2 DLC list,

I never read the comic, what's the Drell's name?
Feron. Anyways, for $10 this better be worth the price. For years no DLC I have purchased has come close to Bethseda's Shivering Isles. Shivering Isles added not only two different storylines for the main questline, but offered a substantially large new overworld filled with additional sidequests and activities.
To be fair, Shivering Isles was marketed as an expansion, but still. At $10 I am expecting at least 6 hours of gameplay Bioware.
For $10, I imagine it'll be around 4 but I hope you're right at it's at least 6.

I've read on some thread around here that our decision of giving the Cerberus data to the SB operative isn't even saved on the import file, so I wouldn't be surprised if it isn't mentioned.Curunen wrote...

That's what sickens me. BioWare created this problem with Liara's content in ME2, and it seems obvious that they did it on purpose solely so they could cash in on the Liara fans.
And, yes, they will do this again for Kaidan and Ashley. And people will be thanking them for it then too. It's disgusting.
Frankly what's disgusting is how you complain about peoples right to choose to spend THIER own money on whatever medium they enjoy.
It's really simple. Bioware is a business, not a charity. Buy thier products if you like them, support them and they'll continue to make entertainment for us. That's how it works.
It's a game for gods sake. If you don't like the price, or the fact that it isn't free/included in the main game then don't get it. She's not REAL and won't be hurt if the imaginary romance between her and another fictional character doesn't continue! If you enjoy it as a form of entertainment then just buy it! Where I live a movie and popcorn costs more than this, so as long as it's at least 90 minutes I'm probibly getting my money's worth on a Saturday night.

Is it just me or has Liara's facial texture gotten a boost? Looks better then the ME2 ingame close ups.
It's not just you, but I don't consider it a "boost" at all. She looks too different. I'm REALLY hoping it's a POV error, heh.
I wouldn't mind Mr. Priestly assuring us, if in fact that is the case.

About the complaining about the price: Arguing that a DLC that costs 1/5 of the main game should be 1/5 as long is flawed logic. With this thinking a DLC should become cheaper if the game was longer and more expensive if the game was shorter. The price depends on the delievered product, not on something else. And it is not only about the length of it, but also about the quality. Kasumi and Overlord for instance were of excelent quality, surpassing most missions in the main game.
All the time people were complaining that ME DLC was to short and compared it to Fallout 3 DLC. Now a larger DLC comes out, and the higher price is the new problem. Honestly i think the prices for DLC are justified. The full games are cheap compared to them, not vice versa. Video games are a very cheap form of entertainment, aside from the costs of aquiring a system.
If this content was held back to "rip off the idiots who buy everything", i guess they would have put it out long ago, because the demand for this specific DLC was there from the very beginning.
Please, quit whining.

Even if it is mentioned I don't know if the ourcome would be different either way as the person trying to get the info from you in ME said they'd get it one way or another so it might as well be you.

Intel Center? Could be locations of all the side quests, and the enemies that you'll find there so you can build the best squad for the job. Just sayin...

My god you are giving overprice a whole new meaning.
PS3 it's getting it for free anyway, so i don't see why should buy this, i rather wait and rent the PS3 version.
PS3 Won't have your decisions from ME1, including your relationship data with Liara. Also, 800 points is better than $50 for an expac.

That's not at all what I'm complaining about.
But go ahead and empower BioWare to do this again in future. Just don't be surprised when ME3 is a horrible game and they force you to buy DLC in order to make it decent, as it should be from the get-go.
Yeah, I get that BioWare is a business and that they only care about money. That doesn't mean I can't complain about underhanded business practices.

Actually from what was said in Germany at the Game expo thing it will. Microsoft won't allow ME1 to be on the PS3, but nothing in the contract stops Bioware from creating a new add on that will occur prior to ME2. That way all the story variables can be accounted for.
While it's no where near as good as playing it at least they can make some choices at the start of the game to vary the playthrough.

Because Bioware would TOTALLY make an awful game, get awful reviews and ruin their reputation just to make an extra couple million.Mystranna Kelteel wrote...

No, they didn't hold it back to rip off the idiots who buy everything. They held it back to prey on people's sense of unfulfilment.
They created a gigantic hole in a player's satsifaction with Liara, and now they're exploiting that for ten bucks a pop.

That was a bit of a hyperbole designed to show an extreme example of how this business practice can be extrapolated.

Methinks itll just be the main missions. So Eden Prime, citidel, Therum, Noveria, Feros, Virmire, and Ilos. Probably easy enough to make.
As for the Liara pack, awesome cant wait me loves liara:wub:
