Wonder if this will fix how they ruined Liara in ME2 or if its just another expensive waste of time. I'd be more amiable about his, but it really feels like they purposely cut a nice hole in the game to sell it later. 800 point is one third the price this was brand new, and it sure wont be that much play time.

I'm thinking it will include all DLC and be accompanied by a GoTY release on the 360 and PC.  $60 and $50.

That would seem to be the most likely path.

I'm assuming you haven't read the comic?

Hopefully "the man" actually makes an appearance and has dialogue... It'd be interesting to hear what he'd sound like.

People stop arguing! We can't lose it now! We gotta keep our composure!! Keep our composure!!! **bangs metal chair against lockers violently**

EDIT: wait a sec, are people not arguing anymore?  If not, my bad...

Not much of a choice really. One remained a good and loyal friend willing to help you, the other turned into a cold, calculating criminal that refuses to help you because some pointless obsession was more importent to her than helping you.

800 bioware points....

My god you are giving overprice a whole new meaning.

PS3 it's getting it for free anyway, so i don't see why should buy this, i rather wait and rent the PS3 version.

You are giving stupid a whole new meaning.  Bioware is a company and they're not stupid enough to do as you say, give it for free.  If you buy it for the PS3, trust me, you're paying for it.

she did rescue your body..and as then someone kidnapped her "friend" but from what I understand that "friend" wasnt much of one..

That being said I never really used liara an LI and most likely still wont...

Now when if they do something like this with ashley that will may require me going back to an ME1 save..

Ignoring all the downers and "anti-sheep"ites on this forum (ie. frugal gamers), this announcement is awesome news!

I was hoping for some extended chatting time between Shepard and Liara regarding the status of their relationship, but this DLC is set to fill that hole. And for 800 points I'm anticipating at least 4 hours of gameplay.

Liara is the reason that Project Lazurus was even possible.

It really isn't much of a choice.

One girl risked her life to track your body down so you might have a chance to live, the other... ran away and kept to her people, who clearly are more important to her than Shepard and Shepard's mission.

Not to mention one of the girls would require you to make 2 meals every time you had a dinner date, AND gets sick every time you want to be intimate.

Hey, come on. Liara saved Shepards body, under heavy risk. She too is a "good and loyal friend". But my Shep can't stay with her just because he owes her. On the other side, she looks great on the screenshots. Who could have told that choosing between fictional characters can be so difficult... Image IPB

Don't think it's online.  Just go into a bookstore and grab a seat with it.  You can get through it in 20-30 minutes.  But, it will make Liara's role and attitude in ME2 a lot more relevant.

Yeah you were so importent to Liara that she stuck around to make sure everything worked out ok and you had someone you knew around when you woke up to help explain things to you. Oh wait, no she didn't.

As far as Tali knew you were dead, it makes sense for her to go back to her people.

That was an exaggeration on my part. I have no idea if the PS3 edition of ME2 has all the DLC's, but if it does happen to have them, you would still have to spend money to be able to play said content. I only posted the above quote in case the poster I quoted was hinting at the PS3 possibly having all DLC's for free, which would be a lie as (like I said) you would still have to pay to play said DLC.

Yeah, I knew that you were quoting some other people on that part, but I'd still like to see a quote from someone at Bioware stating it from those that believe it to be true.

Can't believe how cheap some of you people are being. If you don't want to buy it don't buy it but give bioware a break. This is probably actually an afterthought based on an idea they scrapped early on. They aren't praying on the weak and even if they were they'd be within their right to do so.

800 points is not all that much, for most developers the 5 achievements alone would be enough to justify like 1200 points

Oh good lord, let's not turn this into another edition of "Love Interest Wars: Mine is Better than Yours."

I want to know if the squaddies are voiced in this DLC, or whether they'll sit around mute, like they did in Overlord.

No, seriously, why wasn't this kind of thing in the main game? We know this DLC has been "in the works" for a long time because the files for this Liara DLC were in the game.

Yet what we get from Liara in the game is absolute crap; she doesn't the even mention the romance at all. Yet now we can? And the fact that this has been in development for so long tells me that you aren't "adding" the romantic content in after seeing that the fans didn't like your ME2 crap.

This just screams bad, manipulative business.

Agreed man, and to makes things worst PS3 is most likely getting this for free.

Sadly, most people out there would buy whatever the hell bioware thow at them, no matter how overpriced it is.

Personally i'm not purchasing this for a whole lot of reasons.

1. Because you're poor.
2. Wait...There isn't any more reasons!

My guess is:  Unlike you and most of the sheeps in this thread, he’s not stupid enough to pay 10 bucks for something that’s probably going to be free in a couple of month.

DLC (on consoles at least) are never free. But wait, isn't the PS3 version supposedly getting all the DLC's? If so, you still have to spend $60. Either way, it will never be free. Unless Valve purchases Bioware from EA.

Yeah, but then ME 3 will come in Episodes. That come out 5 years apart...
It isn't free, but "bring down the Sky" costs only 80 MP this days. It is inculed in new copies anyway, however.

I don't think it matters at this late point if PS3 gamers get this content for free.

What matters is what's their connection to Liara going to be?   They didn't have a relationship with her at all before ME2.   I know about the function that's supposed to fast foward everything for the PS3 gamer, but I would think they would need more than that to be able to appreciate what this whole thing with Liara is all about.

Then there's the fact that the majority of PS3 owners here in North America ALREADY own an Xbox 360.   The PS3 is the "2nd Console" for most core gamers this generation.   I should know, as I bought my PS3 late last year.

When people asked why PS3 gamers didn't buy Bioshock in significant numbers when it was released a year after the 360,  didn't they know the main reason was because most core gamers already had a 360 copy?
