Something just came to me.... the Shadow Broker is in the same damn planet as the one who is hunting him?... I mena I Know of irony, and hiding in plain sight... but that idea just seems a bit reidiculous, specially, for intel gathering experts lol.

Like TIM hiding right across from the council quarters... lol

hopefully is a set up though.

LMAO, Tim is the janitor at day.

LOL!

I'm very curious as to what this big surprise is. It really sounds like something. According to Lee, they won't be revealing it at all. They want us to see it for ourselves.

Liara is looking quite different in this DLC. I love her new appearance!

so she will change appearance overall or just the dlc?

Good point, hope its not just the DLC (and the PS3 version).

It might mean she's gonna be a post-suicide mission squaddie. Seems likely this is the first bridge DLC and that the bridge DLC would require the base to be finished. It could also explain what the "Shadow Broker Information Center" is. Might mean an addition to the ship where Liara would stay?

Remember how Garrus and Tali were updated because their models weren't up to snuff when ME2 was being made? Maybe they did the same thing?

the big surprise is an e-mail from TImmeh, obviously. Your denial of this fact won't help it

I'm excited about this DLC. I'm hoping that:

A) Liara gets resolution regarding Feron.

B) If you romanced her, you actually get some good dialogue.

And what I'd really like to see:

C) Thane will want to help and have some things to say. After all, it was the Shadow Broker who sold that information to the batarians that killed Irikah.

We agreed to disagree on this, remember? Not until the DLC is released, then we'll see who receives the I Told You So message. :P

true - she looks amazing in the 2nd pic. she was always pretty, but i think i like pensive liara better. poor liara, time apart from shepard aged her. time did that to kaidan, too. only ashley looked the same. hm...

I like the one on the right more. That one's hot.

I'm wondering what the big moral decision is going to be at the end of this dlc. There almost always is. Probably like most of the decisions in ME: to kill or not to kill?

So once we find out about the Shadow Broker, do we kill him?

Will Liara run a Shadow Broker business? Or will she turn his old office into an animal shelter?

If she ends up in that information center, does that mean Liara takes over has SB after you dispatch of the old one?

Hmm....where have I seen this before, ahh, yes.

Shepard runs into the room. The Shadow Broker is facing away from him, a darkened silhouette.

Shepard: "Shadow Broker!"

Shadow Broker: "Shepard."

Shepard: "Wrex?

"Shepard."

"Wrex."

*Liara kills herself*

It might be more likely our Shepards will have to stop Liara from doing the killing or not

Anyone want to explain to me ow liara is doing what she is, That looks like gameplay. Maybe se will be a squaddie afterallImage IPB

Probably a temporary squadmate specifically for that mission. If she became a full squadmember then all the "We're saving the ME1 LI's for ME3" comments would be nullified. Unless they keep the mission strictly for post-game content, but then she'd only be available for sidequests, so, I don't see much of a point.

Well, as I see it if they wanted to add her as a squadmate and ensure that she survives the suicide mission then the best bet would be to script in a little explosion that incapacitates Liara before the start of the suicide mission.  So she's out of the action during the suicide mission; but available for the rest of the game.  It would kind of make sense too since people playing a save game where most of the squad died during the suicide mission could use a new squadmember (although I've yet to win without saving everyone).

That said the fact that you don't even meet Liara until you get to the 2nd disc of the game pretty much gurantees that you wouldn't be able to recruit her until late in the game.  So it makes a lot of sense that her mission simply wouldn't open up until after the suicide mission.  My guess is that she's either a temporary squad member like Wilson on the Lazarus station or that she is a new squad member; but you can't recruit her until after the suicide mission.  That wouldn't give us much to do with her now; but if Bioware starts cranking out DLC that bridges the timeline between ME2 and ME3 then adding a new squad member would make perfect sense.

I'm hoping she comes on as a new squad member and that later in the year we find out that there's going to be a really big ME2 expansion (the kind that comes on its own disc, like the Awakening expansion for Dragon Age) for her to kick ass in.

Above all though I'm hoping for some more ME1 style awkward nerdiness out of Liara.

i'm sure that we do, given that 1) that's sort of how these things get set up and 2) shepard has met and pissed off so many people in the galaxy.

If it's harken again, I will kill him myself this time. I don't want to let him go and find out later he's actually a reaper.

It could/should have been in the main game, its overpriced, PS3 is getting it for free.
That said, Ill be buying it ... later - If there is enough content, Ill be buying it o my next playthrough. If not, Deal of the Weak.
I wont let BioWare marketing ruin the ME2 experience for me.

Who said PS3 is getting it free, and you do know that it isnt out on the ps3 for like another 5 months don't you...HURP DURP!
