That's pretty selfish, ain't it? That would be like demanding all of the ME2 squadmates to be left out of ME3 unless your ONE favourite squadmate was included.

IMO Liara (being one of the most important characters in ME1) has a very integral role in the Mass Effect trilogy, and her prominence in the games shouldn't be downplayed just because she happens to be a love interest.

Well, I could also mention that out of both games that Liara is the only companion that has never had a chance to die.

Tali, Garrus, Miranda, Jacob, Thane, Samara, Legion, Zaeed, Kasumi, Morinth, Jack, Mordin - ME2, Collector Base (and a few other areas for a few other characters)
Wrex - ME1, Virmire.
Ashley & Kaidan - ME1, Virmire.

Well not to be a smartass but Every other character other then Ashley (Kaiden), and Wrex (Nobody was in uproar over Wrex though Posted Image) have had a some part in ME2, Its not being selfish Its just wanting a little fairness :P.....And I agree with  the Everybody else can Die Except Liara thing  Posted Image

kadian/ashely really only played the role of human romance and starter squadmate, none of the squaddies play a majior role in Me1 but Liara does have the largest

I like her new look and her armor is great!

Anyway, I hope this is a good quality DLC and not just 800 points 'cause they know everyone wanted more from Liara and would buy it.

Well, 800 points is the average standard nowadays. I was honestly surprised when most content was 560 points.

I don't get it, what's so exciting about making Liara... umm... dieable? There's a whole lot of people who can't die in either game. Liara as a character has a lot of future (like, literally, nearly 900 years). She could be a nice binding element for future ME games. But if Bioware will keep trying to pull off that "any playthrough is canon" stunt, then her possibly dying in ME3 will mean she's as good as dead for any future books, and is guaranteed to not play any major role in future games.
I personally hope that Liara survives ME3 and will be a recurring character in many Mass Effect stories to come. Anyone who wants her to die can go to silly hell as far as I'm concerned :P

LOL, you get an internet high five...

Kaidan/Ashley played a larger role in ME1 than *just* love interest and starter squad mates, even if you never used them in combat.  On Eden Prime, Ashley or Kaidan activate the Beacon, allowing Shepard to have the vision of the Reapers and begin the main plot.  On Virmire, one of them detonates the bomb, and one of them is rescued.

I'm happy for Liara fans, but sad that us VS fans haven't had any sign of getting new content before ME3.  Kaidan/Ashley will be the only LIs who don't have any romance content in ME2 after this DLC comes out.  It's worrying, and doesn't bode well for their role in ME3...

This is our biggest DLC yet, period.

It also marks the real beginning where we expand the ME2 story in preparation for ME3.

As time gets closer to release, we'll have coverage on more of the awesome things you can expect out of LotSB

Bioware has already confirmed at least one more story-based DLC for ME2; the Virmire survivor may get some attention in the next addon or so.

Hope so, would hate going into Mass Effect 3 without resolving the "I-HATE-YOU" fight and the "I wub u :3" letter.

A "reply" button would be well worth the price of DLC admission.

Both Casey's interviews and the trailer for Overlord were littered with spoilers. I'd advise caution if you were to read/post/watch videos pertaining to LotSB.

I think Liara will become a character for the Squad after you done the Lair of the shadow Broker(of course you can use her during the Mission), I say this because everytime i read "Give fans from Mass Effect 1the chance to continue a relationship with Liara" Im assuming she rejoins you Unless she dies In the Lair of the ShadowBroker So Bioware doesn't have to add her in Mass effect 3, But hey anythings Possible xD.
