I think Liara will become a character for the Squad after you done the Lair of the shadow Broker(of course you can use her during the Mission), I say this because everytime i read "Give fans from Mass Effect 1the chance to continue a relationship with Liara" Im assuming she rejoins you Unless she dies In the Lair of the ShadowBroker So Bioware doesn't have to add her in Mass effect 3, But hey anythings Possible xD.

They'll most likely have an excuse like Liara becoming the new Shadow Broker, looking over his(her?) files or you don't find Feron and she still searches for him.

This is our biggest DLC yet, period.

It also marks the real beginning where we expand the ME2 story in preparation for ME3.

As time gets closer to release, we'll have coverage on more of the awesome things you can expect out of LotSB

Can we get a trailer before release?

I don't get it, what's so exciting about making Liara... umm... dieable? There's a whole lot of people who can't die in either game.

Name one squadmate except for Liara that can't die.

So, she should be effectively thrown out of any future franchise storyline because she was a squadmate in the first game, and any squadmate could die in the second? And that answers my question how? And how does it even make sense, considering we don't know anything about ME3 squadmates and whether they can all die?

Seriously, it's getting kinda silly. In the first game, one of two squadmates could die at a specific point of the story. That was kinda powerful. Now in the second game, any recruitable squadmate can die (albeit, again only at a specific point). That's getting kinda old. So, in the third game you will want an option to kill any NPC you talked to? Mass Effect franchise will have one mess of a macaroni storyline if Bioware continues with that trend.

it seem the cerberus network was a waste of money cause now we have to buy every DLC at very high cost! with that out of the way, this DLC is gonna be AWESOME!

Oh, I see what it is. Giving the OPTION for Liara to die is suddenly throwing out future franchise storyline? Well then, guess the fans of other characters are just screwed at never getting future storyline. :(

Zaeed, Hammerhead and a few other pieces of guns were more than enough personally. Cerberus Network didn't mean every single DLC would come out free.

I'm excited. Hope this DLC is really substantial and doesn't spend TOO much time on Illium.

I said "throwing her out of future franchise storyline". Again, none of your squadmates have a potential to live for another thousand years. If any future ME-related stories take place after ME3, they will have to be at least a couple centuries later, so yes, the rest of the squadmates are screwed because they won't live that long regardless of surviving ME2.

Well, now that I think about it, I suppose Grunt could also live for another millennium. So, well, yea, let's throw away however well developed character because another character (defined only in loving to fight for the sake of it) could die too.

I some-what agree with you Dave, and this dlc shouldnt be part of the cerberus network but all those previous small ones with item from the illusive man should of been. I feel any dlcs related directly to cerberus should be free to Cerberus network including Kasumi and overlord. but lets leave it at that as I do not want to spoil this great anouncement ****ing :)

I knew I shouldn't have cheated on Liara, but Thane's second set of eyelids was simply irresistible. She'll understand...right?

I gather from that statement that there will be yet more DLC in the future. Awesome.

Does this mean this DLC is meant to be played after the suicide mission and is part of the fabled 'bridging' DLC? It would be great if it took into account the status of your relationship with Cerberus.

Yea I hope they take that into account and also any dead members of your crew...I so want to give Miranda's empty office to someone else lol
