She went from the cute, nerdy, awkward asari from me1 to a hardened, strong, not so cute asari in me2. They changed her face a bit to make it suit her new personality.

My face will not change, so I'll look like another person if  will be hard in my busness or i will be worry about the loss.

But of course the face to change with age, but I do not think that much time has passed after the destruction of the collectors base station.

If I did not knew that this DLC with Liara T'Soni I would have thought that this new character.
Bioware uses the image of another person for the new Liara?

What I don't get is WHY they changed her from her present ME2 appearance to this new one for LotSB. Why spent time and resources changing a character model when the current one is fine? Looking at that comparison just makes it stand out how much the new Liara doesn't look much like her any more, which is silly. Or are they slowly going to evolve things because they're planning on changing up the look for ME3 like they did with Dragon Age or something?

people asking this need to remember that the character models are quite a bit more detailed in me2 - compare ashley/kaiden - who weren't updated - to any of the major characters in your squad, for example.

it's nice that we're finally moving on to post-me2 dlc, but if that's true, why only 'continue' your relationship with liara in this dlc (if you had one) - why not put something in there - even a brief sentence or two - for people that had me2 LIs?

Hi Everyone

We are pleased to announce this morning that the next Mass Effect 2 DLC episode The Lair of the Shadowbroker will be available on the PC and Xbox 360 on Tuesday September 7 and will cost 800 BioWare/Microsoft points. Not only is this an excellent adventure through Illium and the shadowbroker's secret lair, this new DLC will add the Shadow Broker intel center, new research, and five new achievements – and give fans from Mass Effect 1the chance to continue a relationship with Liara.

To help whet your appetite, we have added 4 new Shadowbroker screenshots to the Mass Effect gallery. You can check them out here: http://masseffect.bi...ia/screenshots/ :)

Nice, Chris

So i'm assuming Liara will stay in the "Shadow Broker intel center" . This would make sense, since you really shouldn't be getting e-mails from the Illusive Man after you told him to F off but instead be getting them from liara? Edited to add: That actually kind of ruffled my feathers when DLC was coming out you'd STILL get letters from cerberus Posted Image

It seems most peoples Femshep stayed loyal.

I know mine did, manily because I did not find any of the Femshep relationships in ME2 interesting.

Uh... Ashley and Kaidan were updated though. It's subtle, but they definitely had a little more detail added to their faces (though less to their armour for some reason, which was rather low-res).

I wasn't complaining about Liara's updated face as it already is in vanilla ME2, I'm wondering why they changed her face yet a third time. The updated face for the vanilla game appeared fine and still looked like her, albeit with more detail. But now for this DLC it looks like her face has changed again and she just doesn't look right for some reason. The changes may be subtle (different freckles, colouring around the eyes and lips, etc), but in the latest batch of screens they're enough for it to no longer look like Liara, IMO.

This is something that should've already been in the game.

Have to Youtube this first before considering. Won't be suprised about Kaiden/Ashley DLC soon.

The dogs continue to bark up that tree. Mention that an old squadmate is back, and they'll do some hops. Why wasn't this already there to begin with? Did they "forget"?

Looks like it could still be on Ilium.
Could've been an agent for either of them, and their cover got blown, causing Liara/ShadowBrokerMerc to kill them.

Only thing I want to know; New weapons or armour?

I don't remember anybody mentioning the new gun in the Kasumi Memories DLC before it came out, so there could be a new one. And new armour because why the hell not.

Before Stolen Memories it was already known that the Locust would be in it. And I don't think there will be new weapons/armour in LotSB because given Bioware's DLC strategy, they're just gonna keep selling those in seperate packs (see Equilizer, Aegis and Firepower). Not the way I prefer it, but that's why I don't buy those.

Is the Asari on the ground seems wearing the Normandy uniform?

What if the one of the Asari is Shepard's daughter?

So this is the biggest DLC bioware has done or just the biggest for ME2, either one makes it seem like we will get a decent amount of time out of it. The DLC also marks the beginning of the story getting ready for ME3,sound good to me and makes me glad that I have just finished the game so I am at the right point in the story for it. Now I can continue my romance from ME1 and enjoy my little Asari. Thanks Bioware for the DLC and I look forward to any other DLC that enhances the game or the story in the future.

well overlord was big so i think this might be 2 or 3 hours of gameplay

Well I am definitely looking forward to it. I was a bit worried since there was already related dialogue on-disc. Looks like some nice rewards. Unfortunately I just was able to afford the last regular upgrades, even having completed every quest, doing all DLC, finding everything, and almost never using omnigel or power cells. My monies aren't so many. :( Maybe I'd have a bit more if I didn't want to 100% mine every planet (which I still need more money to finish). And of course there's Liara. I have a character that went with her, but not my main. I'm glad for those who did pick her, though. :)
