As time gets closer to release, we'll have coverage on more of the awesome things you can expect out of LotSB

That would seem to imply it's post-SM which is a good thing given what I told TIM following it.

Man, talk about being melodramatic :?

There's a huge difference between "planned DLC" and "In-the-works DLC."  If Bioware had always intended for this Liara stuff to be DLC, then it was never to be part of the main game.

That's my point. They purposely withheld vital character details from Liara (the romance) in order to profit off of this DLC.

And is there any doubt that they're going to do the same with Ashley and Kaidan? They both had absolute crap roles in ME2 as well. Can't wait to spend 10 more dollars on even more content that really should have been in the main game! :wizard:

Nah, BioWare is perfectly justified and not manipulating the fanbase at all.

You know what? Bioware is a business. They exist to make money. What they are doing is working, and making them money. Fans are getting what they want. They just have to pay for it.

They are a business. They will do what makes them the most money. End of story, too-bad-so-sad.

Now bend over, shut up, and deal with it.

Btw. Liara looks quite appealing in the new screenies. I like the changes.

i kno right, they should stop whining about things and just be happy they got sumthing

I don't know if it has already been said here (too many pages), but will Liara follow Shepard in Normandy?

Awesome. <3 Bioware. 800 pts is not high if it scales with Overlord and Kasumi accordingly. Overlord is just phenomenal imo. I hope LotSB is too.

The dead one on the floor may be Liara! I would guess that the asari on the foreground and the one with the different face is the SB. She's actually Liara's older sister. :P

She won't die. I think there will be a twist to the Shadow Broker's identity. And the paragon/renegade choice will come down to whether or not you end the network or take it over. Thus the SB research station... you or Liara may become the new SB,.

 the renegade/paragon choices are obvious:

renegade: let Feron die/kill the shadow broker
paragon: save Feron/let the shadow broker escape

Regardless of either action, Liara effectively takes over his operations which is her new rational for ditching you all over again.

I wouldn't be surprised by such a scenario. Something along those lines would certainly match the marketing team's mission to make the game more darker and edgy.

How can you people not afford $10? Seriously? Is everyone a bunch of jobless 15 year olds?

Coming from a jobless 17 year old even I can afford it

That's about the only question that interest me; will she join permanently, and is it possible before the 'Reaper FF' mission?

Only thing I want to know; New weapons or armour?
I don't remember anybody mentioning the new gun in the Kasumi Memories DLC before it came out, so there could be a new one. And new armour because why the hell not.

Before Stolen Memories it was already known that the Locust would be in it. And I don't think there will be new weapons/armour in LotSB because given Bioware's DLC strategy, they're just gonna keep selling those in seperate packs (see Equilizer, Aegis and Firepower). Not the way I prefer it, but that's why I don't buy those.

Weapon and armor packs feel like cheating to me... I'd rather earn new weapons on the way through some downloadable adventure than just have them materialize for no good reason in my weapon locker, personally.

wel considering that there is one thing bioware has said they wont reveal through PR. perhaps we can expect Liara to come with us. perhaps they did throw out the hidden dialoge files that were found in the game. (one can hope)
if she does come along i can do nothing nod my head in agreement with the new price. that means there is going to be a ton of new dialoge in the already existing missions. (looking forward to that if thats the case)

I'm very happy to finally have the release date. :kissing:  Took one month too long. Now I'm curious to know what time of day we should expect the DLC to be available. I hope it's not too late in the evening seeing as how a lot of us will work the next day.

My question is how these new quests are accessed. For example, you obviously need to be able to access Illium, which isn't possible before Horizon normally. Will you also first need to complete the sidequests the main game already has involving Liara, first? That is, hacking all those terminals and unmasking The Observer?

And will this DLC mission be affected if you happen to have gotten the identity of the Observer wrong?

They just said that this DLC will be the first to fill the gap between ME 2 & ME 3 so it will be after the SM will she join the crew I dont know it would be awsome to have a capable biotic not like Jack, bad ass  biotic **** my ass USELES or Miranda advance for a human my rear the only capabe biotic in the game is my adept.

Im more curious how will they revamp the adept

That doesn't necessarily mean chronologically, it only really means the plot of this DLC is a set-up for something in ME3. Given the sidequesty nature of the thing, it could reasonably take place either before or after the Suicide Mission and still make sense, since it doesn't directly relate to the Collectors. If the intel on the Shadow Broker comes via Cerberus through the private terminal, though, that will mean it has to be accessible before the Suicide Mission to make up for the fact that Shepard can completely cut ties with Cerberus at the end of the game.

I think that, at this point, we have enough indications suggesting that LOTB does in fact take place post-suicide mission. Still, a confirmation would be nice.

Well on the 360 version Illium is only accessible on disk 2, all other DLC is accessible on both 1 + 2. Disk 2 ends when you launch the SM, so if the DLC uses the current Illium, then LOTS takes place before the suicide mission. If it takes place after then they would have to re-send Illium down with the DLC, or have a different location on Illium where you meet with Liara.

All my current saves are post-SM, so I'm hoping it's one of the bridging DLCs so I can jump right in.

I've got my 9th playthrough on pause right now, for this.

I've recruited everyone(well, except for It-Who-Shall-Not-Be-Named-That-Carries-The-Widow), and done no loyalty missions yet, so if takes place prior to the Suicide Mission, I'll jump straight in.

If not, I can play through to the end and then play the DLC.
