Hey, who knows...the Shadow Broker is pretty much the only reason she didn't go with you...since we get to take him down, she'll be free to join you....right >_>

She should join your squad, but I have an erie feeling Bioware is going to cheap out on us.

Or she may not join for some other plot related thing for ME3.

I would assume so.. but if BioWare uses the hidden audio files.. [SPOILER] -> she stays to look through the Shadow Brokers files

Also.. I found audio files that prove that you don't need to do Liara's side mission to do this DLC

I am afraid I am feeling a bit lightheaded. It is probably just mental exhaustion...coupled with the shock of discovering the Liara DLC's true fate. I need some time to process all this.

No. But Illium is not Earth.

There's nothing in the codex that hints the planet is volcanic or anything - i.e., anything to explain why a certain patch of Illium would miraculously have a chalky-coloured sky with what appear to be volcanic ashy clouds.

I mean, put it this way - can you think of any planet featured in ME so far that has that level of disparity between locations? Multi-climate planets like Earth are the exception, not the norm.

Yes.
I've also been level 30 for a rather long time. I assume that something
is going to open up in the progression, at some point. Possibly not
yet, but character progression tends to be an RPG staple, Action RPG or
not. 

What if it is opened up and then you have enough talents points to max all your abilities?

I know not, I just play the game. There's also empty slots on the power wheel, but I doubt those are going to get filled just yet.

I'm more interested about is a potential new biotic power from Liara.
If she's gonna be a temporary squadmate she will probably have a unique
power just like every other squadmate in the game.
And this would also explain that "buff for adepts" that Ms. Norman tweeted  about a while back.

Or it could be an upgrade to your biotic amp that allows you to ignore armor. Boom.

Re: 'The squad is full, there are no new free slots'. If this starts the post suicide mission era, all you'd need is an updated squad screen. Problem solved. At this stage everything is POSSIBLE, in a lot of cases just not very likely.

I do know BW wanted to keep Liara out of the ME2 squad so she could not die. However, if this DLC is post-suicide mission only, this won't be a problem. Plus, if there is more story-bridging post-suicide mission DLC, you could get some more use out of Liara as a squad mate in them.



The only thing is that Hudson stated Kasumi would be the last ME2 squad mate. This is why I think Liara won't join. Unless he meant no more squad mates will join for the pre-suicide mission team. IDK.

A dev did say that this is the beginning of the ME2-ME3 bridging content, so I would assume this means post-game only material.  I could be wrong, though.

Well...yea but...Ilium is an Earth-like planet...and for the other planets that don't have different climates, I personally think that's just because Bioware didn't implement weather effects, and most of the planets we don't travel too far off from where we land, usually...

And there's nothing to say that it can't have multiple climates...it doesn't look like an ash cloud to me, just a bad storm or something.
