All sounds great... wonder what this new Intel center thing is about. Perhaps it'll be utilised in future DLCs? And five achievements. Hopefully it's a significant piece of DLC... I'll be disappointed if it's less than 3 hours.

As for the Liara relationship continuing... pretty cool. But I hope for Shepards that romanced Ashley / Kaiden will get some attention like that in future DLCs.

Hmmm...stasis.  How would that work in ME2 I wonder?  Would it be similar to the Engineer's Cryo Blast, except that it instantly paralyses enemies but it still allows for even greater damage?

Stasis could be too similar neural shock unless stasis ignores shields barriers and armor:D

Gamble (bless him) has already confirmed that this piece is the largest-to-date DLC in terms of raw gameplay and dialogue, so it has to exceed Overlord in size. And the five achievements is a great indication of that. Think about it. In the main storyline of Mass Effect (ignoring things like class-specific achievements), the achievements everyone unlocks just by playing through numbers around twelve or so. Five achievements signifies a very substantial package. I for one, am very pleased.

And like I've said before, the Intel Center can't be the same location as the one-time visit, loyalty mission-type area of the Shadow Broker's "Lair". In the summary, it's written and implied that these are two seperate locations. Why would the game advertise that you receive the Intel Center if the title is "Lair of the Shadow Broker"? Because the Center isn't the Lair. It's an actual terminal or room/building where you can repeatedly visit as Shepard. If it's a terminal, then it'll be bound to be aboard the Normandy (staffed by Liara, hopefully. In the captain's cabinPosted Image). Otherwise, it could be a small space station that you can repeatedly journey to, similar to a hub world (Citadel, Tuchanka) in this effect (Staffed by LiaraPosted Image).

Truth, my friend...though a DLC this size (5 achievements mostly) have me wondering what the implications of said DLC are.

Will Liara be recruitable after this (1 Achievement- Recruit the Informant?)? Can you romance her to a romance scene ala the other 6 (1 Achievement- Loyal Love?)? Will the Shadow Broker be her loyalty mission (1 Achievement- Breaking the Broker?)? Then what of the other 2 achievements?

I don't think this'll be the case (I believe a Dev confirmed there won't be any more squadmates), but the large amount of achievements have me wondering what they could possibly be for.

Really? Achievements are pointless. You got achievement for collecting some crap in the Overlord DLC. It did not take more than 5 minutes to get it.
You can also get ALL achievements in one ME2 playthrough. ME1 was a different story though.

Yesterday, I did actually speculate on what the five achievements may be. Here is what I came up with:

1. Completing the DLC mission itself, neutralising the Shadow Broker.

2. Liara dedicated Paramour achievement.

3. Locate the Shadow Broker's base.

4. Collection sidequest, similar to what was featured in Overlord.

I was unable to think of anything for the fifth achievement, however. Anybody care to guess?

Renegade achievement for breaking her heart ? (Liara is your ME1 LI, you cheated on her in ME2)

I'm thinking there may be an achievement for neutralizing the Shadow Broker and another for sparing them. I can also see an achievement for collecting a specific number of things (research notes, items, etc).

EDIT:  *reads Mash's comment above; facepalms and leaves*

Cheating? What is this? I do not understand. :P

In all seriousness, that would be an interesting counterpart to the Loyal Paramour achievement.

That was harsh, mash. Shame on you!

As you're using quite an awesome Liara avatar, though, I'll let you off. ;)
