I'm uber excited about this, as was I about all the DLC. I don't mind paying. 10$? It isn't a lot of money, just don't go buy a mountain dew and a candy bar that day.

I think for all the dlc and this one, and how it will all be coming into ME3 and the choices, I think Bioware has had all this stuff planned out while in the making of ME2 and got it down to certain degree, in which it will all play out. And maybe have it planned a certain way in releasing certain DLC.

Idk really. I hope this DLC makes Liara a squadie, she did say that if she wasn't busy with the SB she would love to join Shepard. I don't know if Bioware will put her in your squad or not, and where she would fit on the squad screen but I would love if she would come back full time.

I just finished my 3rd play through ,started my 4th for this DLC and saved right when I woke up.

idk about the SB intel center or the research but the achievements will proly just be new mission achievements eh?

I'm not counting on Liara being added as a squadmate. For one, besides speculation that the devs said no more squaddies, something people never metion is the lack of physical space on the squad selection screen. When Kasumi was mere rumor, you could spot an empty space where her icon would soon appear. It was easy to miss because of screen formatting and the dark background, but now, there is physically no space to select any further people. That doesn't mean I wouldn't love it, though.
Anyway, I am banking on her becoming an NPC like Chakwas and Gardner, someone to run the Intel Center aboard the Normandy, perhaps. So long as the Center is in the Captain's Cabin.

I expect that it'll be somewhat longer than usual, with squad banter, though I'm not holding my breath. Nor am I holding my breath for Liara to be controllable. In those images we see Shepard with Liara, Garrus, AND Tali. So I would think Liara will be running around on her own. And I don't think she will be a squadmate for that reason and for what Sigilius just mentioned.



Also, I'm hoping this takes place after the suicide mission. That's just a personal preference.



But whatever it is, I'm looking forward to what BW has in store for us. Thanks!

Considering the cost, this DLC must be HUGE. It must be at least longer than Overlord (Awesome DLC btw).

if you focus in new pics there are just shep with garrus and liara.and there is no tali.i think after doing a job in illium liara will come to normandy and wait for you to have a time to catch sb in his/her/it`s base.then she would be as a squad mate.and catching sb in the base would be her loyal mission.

I don't think that was the original point. The "See The Future" DLC for Fable II gave 3 or 4 achievements that were completely unrelated to the DLC itself and only pertained to the main game.....the one for opening all the demon doors in the game even though the DLC had no new demon doors, the achievement for sleeping with your in-game spouse a bunch of times and so on and so forth. Ultimately the point was YES they CAN add achievements that have nothing to do with the DLC in this DLC. WIll they do it? I seriously doubt it.

That would put Liara in a interesting position.

If you brought her along, she was in a position or at least part of a crew that had to kill her mother and now she's possibly on the hunt for her father with an intent to kill for what was done to Shepard. 

If that's the case, it's no wonder her personality got so dark.  Who wouldn't change in a dramatic manner going through such?

For a time I was somewhat confused if a little angered by the reception you get from her on Illium but it would start to make sense if event progress in this manner.

For that you want to download the Firepower pack which was released fairly recently.  A new heavy pistol, Geth shotgun and a really cool assault rifle..... many on these forums consider these weapons "overpowered" if that's any indication as to their effectiveness.  Enjoy.

I was referring to the fact that I romanced her in ME1, but romanced someone else (Tali) in ME2.

We got the very basic info which many (myself included) were complaining about which is release date and cost.  Everything else is gravy but I check from time to time for info drops or a trailer video for this.  Still the occasional gripe about it's cost but that has died down thankfully as I feel it is a bargain based on what we know at least.  I lurk around just to check on some of the speculation.  Shadow_broker has an interesting theory that the SB might be Liara's "Dad".  It seems plausible at the least and would put an interesting spin on Liara as a character IMO.
