as far as i know those polish people who have english version of mass effect 2 (downloaded via ea download manager with retail cd-key or bought anywhere else will be able to play the DLC without any problems)
thats another reason why people see no point on making different language versions, subittles are enough ;)

And who might those people be?  English speaking people or people who never get games in their languages anyway?  Why should english speaking people be the only ones to get fully localized games?  Just because you don't see a reason for it doesn't mean that they shouldn't make localized versions.  And the DLC does get  localized (text and voices ) in other languages besides english, so just because the Polish don't get polish versions of the DLC doesn't mean they should just release english-versions everywhere.

If games get localized for every language out there, can you imagine the price tag they would slap onto the finished product ?
The games would get even more expensive, so much that none of us can afford them anymore.
Games get localized into the major languages of the world, deal with it.

I was referring to the fact that I romanced her in ME1, but romanced someone else (Tali) in ME2.

Thus, I'm horrified that I'll have to pick between them ;_;

Consequences for our choices are a kick in the quad aren't they?

Eh.  I'll be picking Tali over Liara any day anyway.

I'm not counting on Liara being added as a squadmate. For one, besides speculation that the devs said no more squaddies, something people never metion is the lack of physical space on the squad selection screen. When Kasumi was mere rumor, you could spot an empty space where her icon would soon appear. It was easy to miss because of screen formatting and the dark background, but now, there is physically no space to select any further people. That doesn't mean I wouldn't love it, though.
Anyway, I am banking on her becoming an NPC like Chakwas and Gardner, someone to run the Intel Center aboard the Normandy, perhaps. So long as the Center is in the Captain's Cabin.Posted Image

They could easily change the squad select screen and make them stand in a circular pattern that you just spin/scroll through. I doubt they will, just saying they could.

Hey man. You made that choice. If you didn't expect anything, that's your fault. I on the other hand, can't wait to get it over with.

5. Complete the entire DLC with Garrus and Tali

So that'd make our 5 achievements:

1. Fleeting Shadow-
Founded the Shadowbroker Base
2. Breaking the Broker- Defeated/Killed the Shadowbroker
3. Loyal Love- Continued the Relationship with Liara
4. Gathering Info- Collected X amount of Collection Items in LotSB
5. Just Like Old Times- Brought Garrus and/or Tali for the mission

WHO WANTS TO BET ON IT?!!!!!1111ELEVEN

We got the very basic info which many (myself included) were complaining about which is release date and cost.  Everything else is gravy but I check from time to time for info drops or a trailer video for this.  Still the occasional gripe about it's cost but that has died down thankfully as I feel it is a bargain based on what we know at least.  I lurk around just to check on some of the speculation.  Shadow_broker has an interesting theory that the SB might be Liara's "Dad".  It seems plausible at the least and would put an interesting spin on Liara as a character IMO.

The price isn't expensive really. It's like 10 bucks. I'm sure it's about double the size of overlord. They said it was the most satisfying DLC yet. It must include a lot of stuff. I'm not worried at all.

No, it's not. Ten dollars is a standard price for a few hours' worth of gameplay on the download market. Everyone expects a few hours from a ten dollar game. That this happens to be Mass Effect 2 doesn't change a thing.

Just because it's "the standard" does not mean it isn't overpriced.

*sigh*

I didn't hear any Fallout 3 fans **** about any of the DLC except for Mothership Zeta, and they are all ten dollars.  Why does this only seem to happen on the Bioware Social?

Awesome!
I expect that it'll be somewhat longer than usual, with squad banter, though I'm not holding my breath. Nor am I holding my breath for Liara to be controllable. In those images we see Shepard with Liara, Garrus, AND Tali. So I would think Liara will be running around on her own. And I don't think she will be a squadmate for that reason and for what Sigilius just mentioned.

Also, I'm hoping this takes place after the suicide mission. That's just a personal preference.

But whatever it is, I'm looking forward to what BW has in store for us. Thanks!

remember when you first met garrus aka archangel and fought of the mercs? its was you, two squadmembers AND garrus, right? it could be just the recruitmentmission.

Because fans are a little more "crazy" over Bioware games, I've been lurking here for months.. and yep your all nuts, but then again if liking Liara is the same as being slightly unhinged then I'm guilty as charged Posted Image

if this dlc actually begins to bridge me2 to me3, could it be possible that liara actually DOES become a new permanent squad member after the mission and one of the current squad members leaves say Samara for example, leaves to continues pursuing her Justicar career...I mean at some point they have to start blending me1 characters with me2 characters and then whatever new characters for me3

There's also a screen that's just Liara, Shep and Garrus. Lending a little more credence to her becoming a squaddie.

Making a buck out of a terrible reunion is not the most elegant way to make a profit.

800 BW points should be enough for at least 10 hours gaming. There's only so much you can do in that time and the DLC also needs some content to satisfy the non-Liara fans. I wonder how much time is left for the LI.

I am probably one of the few who hopes that the DLC allows to break off Liara's relationship. Her new dark and edgy image does not really appeal to me. My Shepards are still scratching their heads. :P

maybe that was just because she''s been preoccupied / obsessed with the SB
the old liara might be back once she has finished the SB?

People don't just change like that :?

Plenty of humans on board the Normandy, why not 2 Asari at the same time?

I just used Samara as an example - if anyone die during the suicide mission then no one would have to leave -  I simply mean bioware has to have a plan to intergate characters for me3 - I assume that these bridging dlc's will partly do this...

If it is after the suicide mission there won't be much point in even having her on the squad. Nothing to do...Posted Image

^ But then there's the ME2-ME3 bridging DLC the devs have previously mentioned. What I would like to know though is if the DLC quests you complete (including the bridging DLCs) carry over into ME3.

DLC carried over from ME1. At least BDTS. Pinnacle Station has a mention in the audio files but it was never put in.

I was also right about PS3 mass effect 2 days before it was announcedPosted Image

SB has to be asari or krogan if it;s organic
SB has to be mysterious and can't have any backround info we have on them contradict their SB occupation
SB Should be a previously mentioned character but not so much that people who missed ME1 will be dissapointed
SB confrontation should give liara some serious Emotional Impact
Liaras dad meets these expectations
Liaras dad has moderate intrest surronding her and revealing her character this way would be very intresting
Liara mentioned Benezia wouldn't mention her dad possibly due to embarssment it seemed, This could be due to possible pureblood connection but if you love someone enough to have asari emotion baby with them makes it unlikley to keep her secret from her daughter for such a petty reason, It seems more likley that Benezia wanted Liara to stay away from the life as did her dad
Saren Shadow broker fight is mentioned in ME1 i speculate this could be due to benezia trying to capture Liara and  breaking deal saren had with Shadowbroker was angered by this causing them to switch over to enemies and wanting to use Tali's evidence as something against Saren to keep Liara safe

I like a lot of your speculation regarding the SB but one thing has me second guessing whether the SB is Liara's "Dad" and that's if the SB was willing to sell Shepard to the Reapers/Collectors then wouldn't Saren and Benezia share similar goals?  There's something wrong here or I'm just not wording it right or I got my ME universe events criss-crossed.  Saren betrayed the SB and yet a couple game months after the Battle for the Citadel when Shepard is killed the SB is involved in a plot to sell Shepards body to those Saren betrayed the SB for.

Am I getting something wrong?  What changed the SB mind?  Was it simply credits or did the Collectors/Reapers promise the SB we have yet to find out?
