Mako shape slightly resembles a shark (if you pretend the wheels aren't there). Hammerhead seems partially based on the Mako. No idea what Kodiak is about (I thought it's a city?).

Kodiak is a type of bear. The Shuttle resembles a bear, especially in the loading screen animations.

So I've been meaning to ask, is this DLC the start of a kind of graphical update? everything just looks more textured and polished in these few new screenshots.

Might be because they've gotten to work on ME3 and they learned new tricks since ME2.

Since nobody asked yet. I would like to know how it will be with localizations for mentioned countries - Czech, Slovak, Hungarian and Poland.



I mean for 800MS it could be localized. Dont get me wrong the price is fine with me, but I would like to see it (as all the others DLCs) localized. Come on Bioware, you created whole game, dont tell us, you suddenly have "technical issues". Hopefully it will be localized for us, because I know it will be super-great DLC and I really dont want to miss it...



So Bioware, Chris how we doing with this one?

And maybe it just depends on the platform:Xbox screenshots or PC screenshots...
But i hope it's  graphical upgrade actually.

thats because they shop it [screenshots] a bit (in certain cases) so it looks better than wut it really is...

Huh?

Weird.... I left the country for my church a day or two after this was announced and only got back now. I didn't have internet access and thought for sure that it would be out by now (or at least available soon). Got all excited when I got off the plane and then I learn I have to wait 2 weeks......

Now I'm all sad.  

But, hey, I least I wasn't like some of you guys-- checking this site each day only to be disappointed each and every time.

Well, considering how Liara looks compared to other Asari in the screenshots if she's half as good as she looks then she'd be better than all Asari. (Please don't mention how she looks nothing like Liara, I'm talking about Asari in general)

Honestly, if it HAD to be brought back for only ONE mission, I'd PRAY that to be the final mission of ME3.

I hear you. The trench run on Ilos was a brilliant lead-in to the final bit on the Citadel (and I really dig Virmire too - that planet at least has an excuse for making you drive through it)

Well, can't really say much from the screenshots [alone], but Overlord sure looked (even) better than the main game.

It doesn't even have to be localized, just let us download and play the DLC. I fear the next DLCs will have tech. problems too:( We bought some kind of incomplete/damaged product it seems, if the developer can't create dlcs for us.

For that you want to download the Firepower pack which was released fairly recently.  A new heavy pistol, Geth shotgun and a really cool assault rifle..... many on these forums consider these weapons "overpowered" if that's any indication as to their effectiveness.  Enjoy.

I expect that it'll be somewhat longer than usual, with squad banter, though I'm not holding my breath. Nor am I holding my breath for Liara to be controllable. In those images we see Shepard with Liara, Garrus, AND Tali. So I would think Liara will be running around on her own. And I don't think she will be a squadmate for that reason and for what Sigilius just mentioned.

Also, I'm hoping this takes place after the suicide mission. That's just a personal preference.

remember when you first met garrus aka archangel and fought of the mercs? its was you, two squadmembers AND garrus, right? it could be just the recruitmentmission.

There's also a screen that's just Liara, Shep and Garrus. Lending a little more credence to her becoming a squaddie.

I'm not denying the possibility (which would be GREAT!), I just think it's an unlikely possibility. 
That screen with just Liara, Shep and Garrus, Tali could just be out of frame.

I am mostly excited about this being a bridging-DLC. There is no definite proof yet, but think about this:
Shepard gets Liara's mail just after the suicide mission, something like: "Shepard, my sources tell me, that the Collector attacks have stopped. So you must hve been successful. If you are still alive, I could use your help."

Then we go to Illium and we can "recruit" her, just like another squaddie, but AFTER the SM. So Liara doesn't have to be voice-acted for the sm and story missions. And the small comments for some loyalty quests (doing them afte sm eventually) can be done easily.

No, Because they where border line insane with rage, i have no problem with stating your concerns or your disappointments with certain things, or even venting about things in general, but you have to admit that the first 40 or so pages where out of hand with people overly angry about something that is not out yet.
