Whats with all of the complaining? Some of the posters seem like they'll never be happy with anything Bioware does...
-First its, why announce it so early then don't release it!
-Next up, this better be a substantial DLC and not short like the other ones!
-Next up, 800 Bioware points WTF thats a ripoff!
-Next up, I'm just going to wait for the PS3 version screw you Bioware!
I for one am happy we finally have a release date and look forward to what appears to be a fairly substantial DLC and would like to say...
Thanks Bioware! Keep up the great work making the best RPG's in the world!
If you think people shouldn't be complaining about the price, maybe you should consider paying for them.
That way no one will be complaining, and you won't be seeing complaints. It's a win-win!

$10 actually but if the DLC is 2-3 hours long and filled with some worthwhile content, I don't mind at all.Kid_SixXx wrote...
800 MS points is like five dollars or something. Much cheaper than most forms of entertainment out there.

So why wasn't this romantic content in the main game?
Trying to make a quick buck?
Yes, because the larger part of a year is just SO quick, amirite?

A LOT of people making assumptions in this thread. "Why did you withold content and make us pay for it now" is another argument with almost no basis in fact.
Yes, Liara had a few sound files left in the game. That in no way means that this part of the game was even close to being finished, if it was even in production at all.
Not just the audio files, the files that specifically say "Liara DLC" or whatever. What else could it mean? Obviously Liara DLC was in the works before ME2 was released, and the romance status with Liara in ME2 is non-existent. Seriously, what else could it mean? They knew this DLC was coming out, and there's really no chance that this DLC was designed because fans were upset about ME2's content. ME2's romance content with Liara was, again, non-existent except for the awkward kiss upon entering the room. There's no way the fans would have been satisfied with that and BioWare knew it.
It seems pretty obvious to me that this whole thing was withheld on purpose, maybe even to make them look like heroes or give the illusion that they "listen to their fans". If I developed a disease and its antidote at the same time, delivered the disease to the population, and then turned around and tried to profit off the cure, would you all greet me as a savior? I'd hope not.

Yes the full ME 2 game means the one they released without dlc. And as they have said over and over again Mass effect 2 without the dlc is the full game.Valakas wrote...

The only confirmed PS3 content is a Mass Effect 1 introduction. My guess is they'll have to pay just like everyone else.Valakas wrote...
PS3 it's getting it for free anyway, so i don't see why should buy this, i rather wait and rent the PS3 version.
They already stated that "The PS3 edition will include the full Mass Effect 2 game" so what does that tell you?

You don't have to buy it. Seriously, the main game was 30-50 hours even without the DLC. Is it so wrong for BW to want to make a profit from a game more than every couple years it takes to develope a new one?
If I want my Liara relationship, which is a big part of my Shepard's personality, then, yes, I do have to buy it. That's the beauty of it isn't it?

Hm, doesn't Alingon has a toxic or at least unbreathable atmosphere (carbon dioxide and xenon gas) and they don't wear any masks/helmets. Maybe above the rooftops of Ilium?

Anybody curious as to what the Shadow Broker Intel Center is ?
Maybe we can trade resources for research upgrade. That would be a welcome addition for those who felt the need to strip mine the galaxy and have no credits left!

There's a huge difference between "planned DLC" and "In-the-works DLC." If Bioware had always intended for this Liara stuff to be DLC, then it was never to be part of the main game.

At least I am not dumb enough to get the Alternate Appearnce Pack or the Equalizer Pack.
This DLC better worth the money. I am intersted in more info regarding the "SB intel center".
