It's a great game if you find yourself to be a hardcore RPG gamer. I definitely recommend it, though if you're apprehensive about it, don't bother.Gumbeaux Jr wrote...
No, but I know it's coming... if not I will just break down and buy the game and all of the DLC at the end of the year.

I said it a long while ago and I still stand by my remark that the SB is Armistan Banes.
It's not the most likely possiblity, but it's a possibility.

No, I am really excited to play it, but I have been rather busy this year and last. I have made time for Mass Effect though!

possible, as we hear on the citadel that Sha'ira might be leaving the Citadel "after years of bad press concerning intelligence leaks".Captain Crash wrote...

But yeah think about it, who in the galaxy has access to powerful people and all sorts of information at a drop of a hat. Plus on the galactic news feed it states the Consort may be leaving the Citadel... going to the base Shepard and Liara invade I bet

I know this mught sound a little crazy, but do you think that the reason that they are releasing both at the same time has something to do with Claudia Black? She voices Morrigan in DAO, so maybe she is the voice actor behind the Shadow broker in the new DLC so that Bioware could save money and do all the recording at once? I would be so impressed if that was the case. Those of you who are betting the SB is Liara's father would get a kick out of that I think.
Hmmm...that would be awesome. This would mean the SB is likely an Asari.
Matriarch Aethyta is also voiced by Claudia Black.
Yeah....I'm not saying that Matriarch Aethyta = the SB = Liara's father or anything.
I would be surprised if they didn't use Claudia for something in LotSB though, even if it's voicing a minor character. It would be awesome if she was the VA for the SB who was an asari, even if she wasn't Liara's 'father'.

That makes a lot more sense than the SB being Banes (who apparently is cited as a possible Shadow Broker for no other reason than the fact that it'c unclear whether he's dead or not) but ultimately, it seems a bit weird that the Shadow Broker would take up such a public identity.
I'm still going with the theory that it's an AI.

I would hope that if they use her voice, it would be for the SB. She can sound so evil when she wants to. It doesn't help that when she soulds evil, she sounds hot. loljlb524 wrote...

Already done with Overlord. Cant be bothered fighting another AI. It would be so tedious. I think Bioware knows this as well

Yes...Claudia Black would make an excellent Shadow Broker...I just hope BW realized this too.

Also a possibility...LesEnfantsTerribles wrote...
I still wonder if the Shadow Broker is perhaps the last Prothean, possibly Ksad Ishan, being kept alive artificially and implanted with extensive cybernetics and nanotechnology, almost transforming him into an AI. Imagine how conflicted Liara would be upon discovering that the entity she has been determined to eradicate for two years is revealed to be the last surviving member of a race of people she dedicated half her life to studying? The potential is there.

Ok...if BW doesn´t pick this I will be very disappointed!
Thank you LesEnfantTerribles! <_<
You probably ruined LotSB for me!

IDK...that just reminds me too much of Overlord.
I'd prefer it if the SB is Liara's 'father'. There would still be some conflict there.
Though, it's also possible that the SB just knows who Liara's 'father' is and may try to use this against her.

Human hooked up to a VI interface to interact with the Geth then...
For all intents and purposes it may as well have been a AI. The difference was trivial, you were still fighting a machine. If lotsb was against an AI you would be fighting a machine.
As I said done once and hopefully not again

Whereas this reminds me of The Empire Strikes Back a little too much.

Hmmm, that is a possibility.
