I'd prefer it if the SB is Liara's 'father'.  There would still be some conflict there.

Whereas this reminds me of The Empire Strikes Back a little too much. :P

So?  ESB is epic.

Poll time! September 7th... Lair of the Witch.... or Shadow Hunt Broker?

Whichever one comes out on the PC first.

Yes, Les, that actually sounds very likely!

Thanks! I don't expect it to be true, but it's an interesting thought.

Yyea, but the chance to have Garrus take shots at Liara for "making a habbit out of this" would be too good to give up.

I keep getting the idea that this DLC is very short. Don't know why.

But I think it should play out like Noveria. Multiple ways to progress, a couple of hubs, more ways to progress, driving sequence, minigames, etc etc.

Noveria was AMAZING level design. We need to see more of that.

Amen Noveria was how alot of worlds should be...much less i think we need more hub worlds in general, and some more space stations.

I agree. I want more hub worlds, specifically temporary ones in MAIN STORY MISSIONS.

Made ME1's story feel more substantial since it wasn't just, "Land, Shoot, Leave".

Hopefully this DLC gives us that ol' Feros/Noveria/Virmire feel.

amen i mean it made the universe almost seem limited and tedious. well technically i guess it is just planets after planets and occasional asteroid belt but whatever thats another topic but yeah.

i mean its not like every world is gonna be a hub world but still if they were more common it would be cool. personally cause i like watching the normandy dock. but hey thats me... :)

Hey it's not just you! I liked watching Normandy dock too. When I realized there are only animations for Feros, Noveria and the Citadel I was a sad panda.

Aren't there enough daddy issues in ME2? I'd prefer it if the Shadow Broker was not family related.

Yeah, give us more real hub worlds. Strangely I find Tuchunka to be the best in ME2, even though it's just one room. But it has Wrex and the Urdnot shaman, and who doesn't like them? But a ME (1) hub world (Citadel, Feros, Noveria) would be nice.

One of my questions with this is the interaction between Asari. For instance, will Samara act motherly or mentor like to Liara. Or if you have Morinth on your team will Liara suspect that she is an Ardat Yakshi and expose her lies and your cover up or will their be any tension between them at all. One would assume it would be easy for Liara to see through the lie. I wonder if Bioware even considered these options.

Agreed!
She's only cared about the SB for two years and somehow it was her 'father' the whole time? It'll seem way too set up. Plus how tacky "Liara, I'm your father!" Please no.

Yeah, please no more daddy issues. I would be perfectly fine with the SB being someone we've never met, really.

As an aside, I hope they bump up the level cap with this mini-expansion.

This. Instead of raising the cap, they need to give every squaddie the same amount of skill points as Miri and Jacob.

The arguement was that Shepards father was never mentioned in any pre-military history.

The only thing that wouldnt make sense is the Colonist, but they argued about the age of TIM, and how that he could maybe have escaped.

It better not happen, thats all I'm saying.

The shadow broker can't be Liara's 'father'. There is a silhoutte of him in the comic, and it's clearly a masculine figure.

That would be AWESOME.

Or am I the only one who's in love with both Martin Sheen's voice and TIM in general?
