I really think Liara would be cool with it.

Remember the scene in ME1 where you had to choose Ashley or Liara.

uhm....what if we do not want to "continue" the relationship and we want to ...you know.....break it up for good?

Lol, Why didnt you romance someone new? Unless your getitng second thoughts just now. ****** her the hell off in the dlc.................

I'm a paragon and I romanced Tali

I would LOVE an option to tell her "you let me go through a suicide mission alone to avenge a frog prince......I'll help you but it's over"

Ahh, Im sure you cant continuethe relationship. Unless bioware added an option to break off an ME2 relationship and go back to liara. But its shepard It'll be a smooth move...........

well a triad relationship would be ok by me......

and if you keep talking to the ME2 love interests AFTER the suicide mission they will keep prompting you the "are you trying to break up with me? " line so I think what you said is possible.

I just want to tell Liara to take a hike for being such a ****

Sorry....she really  pissed me off in ME2

Technically it was over...for two years or so.

I think the dlc and potential ME3 stuff would be more of a rekindling for the LI characters...and continuation for shepard.

bah she is STLL gonna say "no shepard, even after killing the shadow broker I cannot come with you"

so I STILL wanna tell her to take a hike

And I promise you that is 100% true. Now never say I don't tell you stuff.

Ever since Barla Von speculated that the Shadow Broker might be a group of people due to the difficulty of one person handling so much information, I've been convinced it must be an AI. Would also tie into the ongoing theme of the relationship between organic and artificial life. In any case, I'm excited to see what happens.

I don't see why everyone is limiting their candidates to known races. Of the known races, an asari is most likely to fit the role, but we've seen enough asaris up the wazoo already. I expect an entirely new (for us) species.

If it was an AI wouldn't it have the ability to warn the guards at the same time while talking to Liara and Feron ? It could be a plot-hole ofcourse. Or an Apple product, since it doesn't have the ability to do multi-tasking.

doubtful

there would be no point in introducing a whole new race for such a role

They have already introduced the Raloi and an unknown AI race at the Cerberus Daily News, but chances are that none of them are the Shadow Broker.

^ Aha true that Shadow Broker. For real, 10 bucks holy sh*t! I mean, its 800 microsoft/bioware points big woop.. not much. I thought it'd be 1200 at first like the MW2 maps. Stop complaining.. if its too much for you to afford, don't buy it.

I think BioWare has been great with DLC prices.. honnestly I'm surprised Kasumi and Overlord weren't 800 and LotSB 1200. Most game companies would of done that. So be a little more grateful.. it made me laugh how you call 800 MS/Bio points overprice.. haha.. I have never seen a DLC for less than 800 before I met BioWare and Mass Effect. So thank you BioWare for giving me great DLC at reasonable prices.

/End rant

also, most other game developers only give you some maps to play on, all of which are badly designed (MW2 anyone ?)

I agree. It's definitely not a Raloi because they just discovered the Citadel and the SB was operating long before ME1.

LOL. 800 BP is nothing. besides, you pay for a amount of points, not just the DLC. if you still have some points left, you can use them for something else. So if you buy now 1200 BP, you still have 400 left. With these points you can get a weapon pack or whatever.

I payed, i think, 10$ so i can get the "overlord" DLC, but i had enough points to get my self the latest weapon pack. so you don't pay 10$ just for one DLC.

1. Nobody can complain if this is 'free' with the PS3 version, because the PS3 version will almost certainly retail for maximum price. ME2 has already dramatically dropped in price, so somebody buying the game now on PC and Xbox 360 can then go and pick up the DLC and still have spent less than people who bought it at launch. That is just the nature of business. When the PS3 version launches if it has the DLC bundled in then it will retail at maximum price, and thus they wont be getting it 'for free'. If you really still think this is an issue you have no idea how business strategy and product pricing and markets works, and should be complaining now that people can get ME2 and the DLC for a total cheaper price than launch.

2. 800BP/MP might be expensive, it might be cheap, or it might be spot on. It is utterly retarded to complain about this DLC's pricing and value when you dont know what it contains. How can it be too expensive when you dont know how long it will last, nor every little detail about what it will contain? It might be too expensive, but nobody can rationally state that it is expensive at this point in time, simply because nobody bloody knows how big it will be.

Man there are some silly people here.

Will the Shadow Broker DLC require the v1.02 patch? I rather prefer it doesn't, just like Overlord.

At least there is one thing we can agree on. Bioware is nowhere near the crapiness of Activision.

And yes people. Big Surprise! A company wants to make money. Big deal.

Rofl we all know the Shadowbroker is really Admiral Hackett.

Let's see. These are the possibilities we have, regardless of how likely they are:

1. Liara's dad
2. The Illusive Man
3. Armistan Banes
4. Admiral Hackett
5. Miranda's dad
6. Conrad Verner
7. The Consort

Anything else I'm forgetting? I think that's everything that's been suggested for the past seven or so months. Also, #1, #3 and #4 are underlined for a reason.

I don't see what motive the consort would have....why would she need to sell secrets when she has such a promising career in........................................................................................................consort-ing?Posted Image

the shadowbroker's definitely a reaper
he would be able to get access to all kinds of information via synthetics on many different worlds meaning he woulden't have to deal with many if any people at all. which is why noone knows who he is...

Where?

Regarding the Shadow Broker, don't know how many times it has been mentioned already, but one of the latest screens features Weyland-Yut I mean, Eldfell-Ashland office... which, I'm inclined to suspect, is a subtle hint... does anyone recall anything suspicious about that corporation? Like, from one of the books, or Cerberus News feed?

I know, right? Despite her opening up and giving a reason for being so cool towards you?

Liara is still the most misunderstood teammate in the ME series (maybe aside from Jack).

In Zaeeds Mission you are hitting an Eldfell-Ashland Refinery, that's about all the exposure they are getting in the entire Game...
