Aside from that, on the Daily News there's been a couple of pieces on Aish Ashland, the founder's granddaughter. She's seems like the typical heiress that takes red sand and marries pop singers. Not much else.silverhammer08 wrote...

Regarding the Shadow Broker, don't know how many times it has been mentioned already, but one of the latest screens featuresWeyland-YutI mean, Eldfell-Ashland office... which, I'm inclined to suspect, is a subtle hint... does anyone recall anything suspicious about that corporation? Like, from one of the books, or Cerberus News feed?
I don't think Eldfell-Ashland has much to do with the Shadow Broker, personally. To me it seems like that office just so happens to be in the scene but isn't actually hinting at anything. It's a human company anyway so the chances that the Shadow Broker is using it is kind of low.

If it was an AI wouldn't it have the ability to warn the guards at the same time while talking to Liara and Feron ? It could be a plot-hole ofcourse. Or an Apple product, since it doesn't have the ability to do multi-tasking.

I meant that under the assumption that the Shadow Broker is not, himself, a human. As a human based company, the chances that an alien would hold a position in the company of any authority and power are rather low. The SB might have an agent or something in the company for info leaks or whatever but I don't see him being so deeply involved in it that it'd warrant Liara and Shepard busting up the place, unless he pulled a Vido and took some random factory over. Just speculation but I thinks it fits well enough.Phantom Panda wrote...

Is there a reason no one suspects that T.I.M. himself is the Shadow Broker?

Probably because he would have one hell of a time pulling it off, I would have thought TIM would be interested in setting up deals with SB, for example how would he know how to replicate a Turian distress signal almost perfectly to lure Shepard et al to the familiar "derelict" Collector ship.
Phantom Panda: Liara v Jack? Liara all the way, I don't think you can go up against pure natural (biotic) talent like that and expect to win no matter who you are. Not like it wouldn't be a close run thing, mind.

Because then he'd hate himself?
Then he'd actually foil his own plans?
Then he'd have hired Liara to get Shepard's body from himself?

TIM didn't create the false distress call. It was the Collectors. EDI's point was that TIM should have known it was false (and did).

How could it not be possible? Set up an alternate persona, just as influential as the other one, then make those persona's hate each other, terribly, foil your own operations while really "suceeding" in the end.
It makes perfect sense.
"Information is my weapon Shepard."
So blatantly obvious, it actually throws you off.
Create the excuse that the Shadow Broker was going to give Shepard to the Collectors, use Illusive Man persona and tell her that theyll revive Shepard.... therefore in her mind she had no choice but to give it to Cerberus.
It all makes complete and total sense.

That was just a VI that the Shadow Broker was using to communicate with Harbinger, it's entirely possible that the avatar was just.. there. Like how Avina is made to look like Asari / Human-ish.

I dont think you understand the meaning of the bolded word.
Avatar, is a false representation of oneself, a psuedo entity of your own creation...
T.I.M., if Bioware has an REAL story sense, would be the Shadow Broker.
With all the damned evidence, it makes sense. His connections in the Alliance, his intimate knowledge of Turian systems, his vast range of knowledge, the ability to start rumors (that people seriously listen to), his sheer amount of funding.
It just makes sense.

You havent read into the subtext of the entire situation..... He had aquired Shepards body, but if he was suddenly ressurected and taken out of a Cerberus Base, then everyone would immediately suspect T.I.M.
He cant have that.
So simple, he hired to take Liara back from himself, making it look more than real enough so there could be no question, sent Miranda to oversee it, without her real knowledge of what was going on, thereby keeping both his persona's intact.

Wait......what?
Liara knows Cerberus brought you back. Miri knows. Shepard knows. Shepard has let plenty of others know.
The only thing gained by TIM with your idea is Liara as an enemy.
Yeah, cause that really helps. <_<
