Man, talk about being melodramatic
There's a huge difference between "planned DLC" and "In-the-works DLC." If Bioware had always intended for this Liara stuff to be DLC, then it was never to be part of the main game.
That's my point. They purposely withheld vital character details from Liara (the romance) in order to profit off of this DLC.
And is there any doubt that they're going to do the same with Ashley and Kaidan? They both had absolute crap roles in ME2 as well. Can't wait to spend 10 more dollars on even more content that really should have been in the main game!
Nah, BioWare is perfectly justified and not manipulating the fanbase at all.

Well, there's some acknowledgement if Legion is present. Barely worth mentioning though.Spartas Husky wrote...

You don't have to buy it. Seriously, the main game was 30-50 hours even without the DLC. Is it so wrong for BW to want to make a profit from a game more than every couple years it takes to develope a new one?
If I want my Liara relationship, which is a big part of my Shepard's personality, then, yes, I do have to buy it. That's the beauty of it isn't it?
Well, love can be expensive so show your love for Liara and PAY UP!!!!!!

Archer commented on Legion if you brought him along. So if Overlord is any indication, then Liara will acknowledge her old teammates.

Not really. Not if they want to claim that they care about their fanbase more than their fanbase's bank accounts.

Yes the full ME 2 game means the one they released without dlc. And as they have said over and over again Mass effect 2 without the dlc is the full game.Valakas wrote...

The only confirmed PS3 content is a Mass Effect 1 introduction. My guess is they'll have to pay just like everyone else.Valakas wrote...
PS3 it's getting it for free anyway, so i don't see why should buy this, i rather wait and rent the PS3 version.
They already stated that "The PS3 edition will include the full Mass Effect 2 game" so what does that tell you?
"Without the DLC" sorry but i don't think so.
ME 2 was obviously and incomplete product, and the Liara archives in ME 2 proof that.
They are just milkin money out of their fans, and the sad thing is that most people seem to like it.
I was supporting Bioware with the DLC up until now, but the game has become far too expensive.

Does it worth the same price like two BDtS?Deavent wrote...
How can people honestly think this is overpriced? I'm a student, a poor one at that, but I'd gladly pay up for this. I mean, come on: It's Liara.

A LOT of people making assumptions in this thread. "Why did you withold content and make us pay for it now" is another argument with almost no basis in fact.
Yes, Liara had a few sound files left in the game. That in no way means that this part of the game was even close to being finished, if it was even in production at all.
Not just the audio files, the files that specifically say "Liara DLC" or whatever. What else could it mean? Obviously Liara DLC was in the works before ME2 was released, and the romance status with Liara in ME2 is non-existent. Seriously, what else could it mean? They knew this DLC was coming out, and there's really no chance that this DLC was designed because fans were upset about ME2's content. ME2's romance content with Liara was, again, non-existent except for the awkward kiss upon entering the room. There's no way the fans would have been satisfied with that and BioWare knew it.
It seems pretty obvious to me that this whole thing was withheld on purpose, maybe even to make them look like heroes or give the illusion that they "listen to their fans". If I developed a disease and its antidote at the same time, delivered the disease to the population, and then turned around and tried to profit off the cure, would you all greet me as a savior? I'd hope not.
this is nothing but more fan service to the Mass Effect 1 who whined about not being able to bang Liara but my question does this fit with in the main story of the game or is just some stupid ME 1 fan service bull sh*t

Not only is this an excellent adventure through Illium and the shadowbroker's secret lair, this new DLC will add the Shadow Broker intel center, new research, and five new achievements – and give fans from Mass Effect 1the chance to continue a relationship with Liara.
...continue the relationship, or suffer her biotic wrath for cheating?
Regardless, I'm down for this! I was getting really edgy waiting for the realease date. Thanks!

True... but I want something more than "1 sentence" in vague reference to "is him going to be a problem".
Some banter, somebody break a bone.... I want to see a pie being thrown at somebody, for god sakes, make theg ame alive... is like watching paint dry... if I have to watch it dry, at least make it rainbow color...lol
When my friend buys DLC if Liara, only says "oh hey guys, I am glad to see your safe"... and that is it... I will never buy a DLC.... then again Overlord is the onyl one I bought so lol.
Oh, and "dialogue" isn't worth another 400+/- points. it has to be massive, period, if is 60-70% more expensive, then I expect, it to be 60-70% larger on all accouns, length, depth, and dialogue.
So... we were told Overlord was wat? 2 hrs? 60% is 70 minutes?... if my math is wrong just correct no biggie lol.
So I expect, SB dlc to be, at least 70 minutes longer.... aka: 3 hrs 10 minutes....
heck, I'll give em slack, 3 hrs... without countin movie time.

About the intel center, well, we can still hope... Like we hoped for free content, like we hoped for keeping the prices normal and like we hoped for helmet toggle.
