Do we know yet if the shadowbroker dlc will take place before or after the suicide mission? I think that is a pretty important thing to know. I at least would like to know because i am in the middle of a game and i don´t know whenever to wait before doing illium or complete the game to do the dlc after it.

We don't know yet.

Gamble that it is after it. If that's not true then you have a good excuse to play it again. The game is not that bad. ;)

I can safely say I have done EVERYTHING except this DLC so I hope it's after the SM...

It would make alot more sense from a story perspective if this DLC was set post-suicide mission. Reason being is that assisting Liara in hunting down and neutralising the Shadow Broker is not a menial, insignificant task or sidequest. The pair are attempting to track down the most powerful and elusive information broker in the galaxy, with a vast network of contacts and dangerous, powerful armed mercenaries. Considering this, it makes more sense that Shepard would team up with Liara and assault the Shadow Broker after the Collectors have been dealt with, so that she is in no way preoccupied with an impending mission to stop the individuals responsible for abducting thousands of human colonists.

For that reason, among others, I believe that this DLC will be set post-suicide mission.

Interestingly enough, this DLC also functions to reintroduce Liara into the main storyline, most likely in preparation for her squadmate role in ME3. If that does turn out to be the case, then I am almost certain that DLC that prominently features the surviving Alliance soldier is forthcoming.

So will there be a love scene with Liara in the ME2 vein as opposed to the one from ME1?

Shepard: Why all the modesty all of a sudden?

Liara: Click here, Shepard

Unlikely, they'll just want to keep us in suspense!

(Now that I've said it, Evil Chris is going to reply with the info within the next two pages. Happens every time.)

Well good luck with getting a straight answer to that. i barked up that tree for about a year regarding the 2nd DLC for ME1 with no luck though thankfully BW has been MUCH more forthcoming with DLC and even info on upcoming DLC so hopefully if that's the only "spoiler" answer we get until its release then I'll be happy... especially since knowing such wont really spoil the DLC content IMO.

Still, my best guess based on what we've been told is that it is post-suicide mission butwhether we get info from TIM or not is my big question as I'd like to see a severing of ties to Cerberus as much as possible.

This is our biggest DLC yet, period.

It also marks the real beginning where we expand the ME2 story in preparation for ME3.

As time gets closer to release, we'll have coverage on more of the awesome things you can expect out of LotSB

It looks like it's after ME2, even though it's not a 100% confirmation, it kind of implies as much. ^_^

I wonder if people who didn't romance Liara in the first game will have the chance to do so now in regards to the romance development.

ME redemption has a pic of what SB uses as an avatar when he/she/it sends messages. Basically looks like atlas from bioshock.

Might end up being a wizard of oz type ending where it's just a midget volus behind a curtain.

I dont think you understand the meaning of the bolded word.

Avatar, is a false representation of oneself, a psuedo entity of your own creation...

T.I.M., if Bioware has an REAL story sense, would be the Shadow Broker.

With all the damned evidence, it makes sense. His connections in the Alliance, his intimate knowledge of Turian systems, his vast range of knowledge, the ability to start rumors (that people seriously listen to), his sheer amount of funding.

It just makes sense.

The above 'evidence' essentially makes the claim that he's the Shadow Broker based on no more than the fact that he's loaded and well connected. Using that logic Donovan Hock could have been the shadow broker.

If you really wish to pose the argument that TIM is the Shadow Broker, you really do need to give a plausible explanation as to why he spends such vast sums of money on finding out stuff he already knows, why he openly collaborates with aliens to destroy humanity despite being a human supremicist and bordline xenophobe... I mean, these are pretty blunt obstacles to your claim.

You need to do more than just say 'but, but, he could be just trying to fool you!' if you're expecting people to take it seriously.

Agreed. It's the closest weapon to the Spectre X AR in ME2.

Aside from it's l33t stats, I like the model, too - it reminds me of a cross between and unloaded MP5k and Judge Dredd's Lawgiver.

Liara traveled back into the past to give Chuck Norris tips on how to be awesome.

I hope the shadow broker doesnt end up being liara. With the inclusion of the shadow broker intel system it makes me think the shadow broker is the illusive man or liara.

This is possible.  I do have a Shepard who remained single in ME1/ME2 just in case.
