This DLC is not a threat to us. It's a threat to everyone!!. So go out there and make me proud. Hell, make yourselves proud. Enjoy every enriching part of the thrill of finding out who the SB is. Revel in it. And come back here and congratulate those that theorized correctly who SB is. Afterall, anyone's theory could be right!!!

I hope the shadow broker doesnt end up being liara. With the inclusion of the shadow broker intel system it makes me think the shadow broker is the illusive man or liara.
It's neither of them. TIM puts you on the tracks of the broker in this DLC and Liara wants to kill the broker and I am fairly sure she'll succeed. But if the broker dies someone will have to replace him as all his contacts and power are too signifficant to just be wasted.

+Do we have to buy it if we want to continue/break up our relationship with Liara? Or will that content end up missing/watered down in ME3 when it comes out? Oh god, I'm going to have a lot of nightmares where ME3 just assumes that I want to pick up where I left off with Liara... :S

Unless the SB is a AI networkpoisonoustea wrote...
Barla Von from ME1 had an interesting and sensible theory about the SB: there is no individual Shadow Broker, but a collective of individuals instead. It makes sense because there's too much data for one man to handle.

One of the MANY "pings" on the galaxy map that don't actually have a planet or satellite over them.

What makes you think that? I think the Shadow Broker's network will remain mostly intact after this DLC but perhaps with a new boss.

If I remember correctly in the end of the SB comic, his base was *spoilers* at a planet with clouds like this that made it impossible for anything on surface to be detected.

It was disappointing when I scanned an entire "ping" and found nothing, it's like opening christmas gifts and finding out there was nothing in the box.

Likewise. Following the release of this DLC, I'd be ecstatic if BioWare created and released a content pack that prominently features the surviving Alliance soldier. I am confident that this will be the case, though!
