I know everyone is referring to Liara's missing parent as 'father', but that's not exactly right is it? Liara has two mothers. So I doubt anyone will be referring to her as a 'he' ingame.

I'm reasonably sure that the "mother", technically, is the one who gave birth to the child, and the other parent is referred to as the "father" regardless of gender.
Anyway, sound file aside, Liara seems to think it's a man when you talk to her on Illium, when she says "what's left of his body". Maybe she's just using the word for convenience, or maybe she knows it's a man from her digging.

I dont know if this is conformed (i havnt seen it either) but apparently Chris Priestley said it was out of a possible 7 people and one of them was a asari soo that rules out all males but what do i know xD

If a piece of unoffical news contains the word "apparently" I think I'd just ignore it. Besides, Priestly doesn't seem the accidental-spoiler-dropping kind, he's too crafty.

That is awsome!!!

I hope that Liara will be recruitable after doing her mission on Ilium, converse with her with the dialogue wheel, that she does not act as cold as she was when we met her, and especially if romanced her. I dont think I am asking for that much.

I'm hoping that it will not be just Shepard and Liara talking whilst the other squad member(s) remain quiet, like Overlord. I am hoping that everyone will get a chance to say something, some dialogue lines would be great, esp if you bring ex-ME1 squad members like Garrus and Tali with you to meet Liara.

That's all I'm expecting, to be honest. That said, however, I have very high hopes for the Shepard-Liara conversations, I'm hoping for unique dialogue for faithful / unfaithful (cads!) Sheps, as are most, I suspect.

Oh, and I hope that the thing with this Shadow guy is good, too...

I dont know why the Shadow Broker would be somebody we already know. Liara's 'dad' isn't even a possibility in my mind, at least, not a valuable one. It would be such a stupid twist.
