I bet it's Shepard. In the future, the reapers defeated Shepard and, for some reason (tm Mass Effect), mind-controlled him/her and sent him/her back in time to defeat himself/herself again just to make sure. Now when that turns out to be true I hope you'll think of me.

Shepard never died on The normandy that was secretly Engineer adams(did you see his face?) and cerebrus rebuilt him not shepard
While all this was going on shepard became The SB

Am I the only person who hopes this DLC will NOT let us figure out who the SB is? The concept of the Shadow Broker has far too much potential...far too much to get wrapped up in a DLC...that so far Bioware has showed us they never make deep enough...now this 800MS could mean its a much richer DLC as I hope....but I still prefer the whole SB thing have its lid kept on for ME3..or christ even another DLC...I just dont want some shallow DLC blowing up one of the coolest aspects of Mass Effect.

I hope we get some unique dialogue if we take Garrus and tali with us. It was somewhat depressing when garrus didnt even say hi to Tali or tali and Garrus say anything to Wrex in my playthrough.

Sound files strike again......the sound files on the disc that you bught relating to this DLC confirm the Shadow Broker is just one male person/alien.

Because the idea of more than one person simply complicates the already nearly impossible role the SB has....



The only way I could see it being a group of people is if they are indeed family members...no way in a business like that could a group of people maintain such success with eachother and never have someones greed or selfishness get in the way of it and ultimately screw it up...even with family that would be almost impossible...One person just seems logical....and as for an AI..I just dont see Bioware throwing another AI at us yet...



Basically I think all the indicators are that it is a single person...who is not a human.

Yeah they wouldnt do that...release ANOTHER DLC that turns out to be all about AI? That alone in my book guarantees its not an AI.

An AI would also be ripping off KOTOR 2, since G0-T0 was the droid that ran a criminal organization.

Ok, I didn't remember that part. Still don't remember seeing it. But I guess it opens up possibilities. Not sure if it really limits them. (Mind you, I don't personally believe that Liara's 'dad' is the Shadow Broker, I just don't believe it's impossible)

Shrug, or they could be placeholders. But assuming that they're not pulling this stuff out of the... air as they go, you're probably right.

Barla Von is GUESSING.....he even admits he has no idea and is merely speculating as to what might be. He rationalizises that it's too much work for one person but he does NOT know anything about the Shadow Broker beyond the scope of his own job.

I didn't find them myself, I only watched the findings on youtube as the files on the 360 version of the game can't yet be read in a meaningful way by any third party software so the PC gamers that found the files could probably tell you more about speciffic locations. Aside from that I do not know of any other sound files that indicate at another DLC. As far as what's been discovered this is the last DLC that is already partially on our game discs.

I'm going to go with Thax as TSB. Why would you get renegade points for telling him he's had some stuff stolen? Because he's a baddie! I also think he's Krogan and the Krogan you meet after the stolen goods side quest is his PA - he just seems so un-Krogan the way he deals with Shepard.
