Something occurs to me; will this DLC be something we have to import our Shepards into? Like several Dragon Age DLCs have worked?

Oh, I doubt you will import your Shepard....what benefit would that give? ME2 is unlike DA:O in that you can continue playing after the final battle.

Of course. I was merely stating that the quarians are the only alien race, aside from the asari, to have had the females of their species depicted in-game so far.

We may have already seen volus females without being aware of it.

No, it's just that some (myself for one) would think it awesome if Claudia Black voiced the Shadow Broker.  In this case, the SB would most likely be an asari.

Given that 'Witch Hunt' is being released at the same time as LotSB, it's likely that the ME2 team used Claudia to do some VO work in LotSB.  She did voice a few NPCs in ME2.

Not at all. ME2 works very differently compared to Dragon Age. It will be more or less like the other DLC's.

This could be interesting. I wonder what would happen if you initiate it after you finish the main plot, and you've already romanced someone else? Imagine romancing Liara in the first game, then romancing, say, Tali. And then what do we get? Liara doesn't know Shepard hasn't been faithful. Could this be a Miranda/Jack or Legion/Tali like argument in the brewing between your new and old love interests?

I still think that if you picked an ME2 LI, Liara will still admit to having feelings for you, but will decide to hold off on the relationship for awhile.  Thus, you can choose between Liara and the ME2 LI in ME3.  Only faithful Shepards will get a nice romance reconciliation scene.

Or, this is at least how I think it should go.  Knowing them, even the unfaithful Shepards will get the nice scene <_<
